Ok, he didn't score so his contribution may go overlooked.
First goal, blocked Jones from getting near Ki.
Second goal, quickly taken free kick was start of the run to the goal.
I realise that lots of our players had great day, but having read some negative posts about Bony, felt the need to post.
Even when not scoring, ignoring the defensive attributes he adds at set pieces, he had a hand in both of our goals.

i thought bony did a lot of things well off the ball. clever things.
regarding there being room for both Gomis and Bony... of course there's room. they will occasionally play together. Gomis will probably get a good 15-20 starts including cup games, and Bony will probably get 25-30 starts, i'd think. that should be enough playing time to please Gomis, who must figure he will be in line to be the #1 striker next year if he impresses and Bony is off. |  | | |
