Agree - I really enjoyed that. Can normally rely on Clint Eastwood films (although I have to say I am not tempted by American Sniper - I don't enjoy those types of films much so will wait until on the TV).
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

We just turned up at the box office half an hour before curtain up to see the musical in London, £67 seats for £25 (still £5 for a beer though). Well worth seeing, I laughed, I cried and came out feeling great. Glad that we saw the musical first.
In fact 'I laughed, I cried' could also reflect the beer price.
Now I hate films with a passion and all the marketing bullshite and how he or she was a wonderful actor in all the build up and such a wonderful person etc. Whilst the publicity makes the film x million irrespective of whether the film is shite or not. However I was forced (by er indoors) to watch Pride this eve. Superb and fully recommend. Such a shame that there are so many prejudice kunts out there irrespective of race, gender, disability or sexual orientation, how pathetic some football are! Sadly football is way behind the real world and needs to get into 2015.
Watched Out of the Furnace last night (Netflix, Christian Bale). Good film.
The Equaliser (Denzel Washington in the Edward Woodward role, if you can get your head around that) is also a good film, but it is unremittingly bleak.
I watched the Equalizer too - bit rubbish but enjoyable rubbish.
Also watched Whiplash which was good but not as good as I'd hoped, Fury which was okay if somewhat predictable and A Walk Among The Tombstones which was a bit sh!t. High quality is hard to come by at the moment.
Skip if you haven't already seen it watch Wolf Of Wall St - one of the better films of the last couple of years.

The Swansea Way.. To upset the odds.
Watched flags of our fathers and Unbroken.. Two true stories about WW11
If you liked Flags of our fathers try Letters from Iwo Jima, Clint Eastward directed them both as a pair, Letters is based from the Japanese point of view, subtitled but equally as good.
