Surely Monk has given orders since taking over, for him to not make runs for balls over the top down the wing. Perhaps concerned it was leaving the fullback exposed and now we have Naughton, he can do the overlapping if needed and has the legs to recover defensively. A lot of these season loans end up being allowed to recall in January anyway
I hope one of the last things he does in a swans kit, doesn't end up being that awful cross/shot thing he did against Newcastle. |  |

Don't understand this at all.
Thought that we might have sold him during the window and brought in another winger (aside from Ayew).
This is going to be a tough season. Everything seems rosy in the garden at the moment, given the start that we have had...however..
In my opinion this season is going to be the toughest that we have faced. Very few very week sides in the PL, all have good managers and the majority are well run.
A few injuries and this will seem a very strange deal to have been made.
Garry Monk has been brilliant, on this issue though, can't see his logic. |  |
