Much as many deny the truth, the facts are there for all to see. No I am not proud of the situation but we have to be realists to plan for the future. The aim to create 1,000,000 Welsh speakers by 2050 will never happen, let's be realistic and plan accordingly. The sooner Drakeford is gone the better, he just won't see sense.
How much prize money Revenues for English Football League clubs are
The Championship For the 2024-25 season, clubs in the Championship received just below £11m. This figure includes a basic award amount (50%) and solidarity payments (50%) from the Premier League.
However, clubs who have been relegated from the Premier League within the last three years are not entitled to solidarity payments, meaning they will receive roughly half of that £11m figure from the EFL.
Additional to those central payments, clubs relegated from the Premier League in the past three seasons also receive 'parachute payments'.
Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United received an estimated £49m as 'first year' relegated teams. Leeds United, a 'second year' relegated team, received around £40m.
Watford and Norwich City – 'third year' relegated clubs - received around £17m.
NHS Wales spends £1 out of every £10 they have on diabetes, for instance, yet "most Type 2 diabetes cases are preventable" with healthy eating and exercise. Never mind we are 2nd in the World for recycling. We really need a Welsh government that will prioritise the Welsh people.
