Who will win the Championship play offs
at 15:16 4 May 2025

I'm going for Sunderland. Sheffield United seem to have fallen off a cliff and Coventry and Bristol City lack enough quality for me.

Championship payments
at 13:15 2 May 2025

How much prize money
Revenues for English Football League clubs are

The Championship
For the 2024-25 season, clubs in the Championship received just below £11m. This figure includes a basic award amount (50%) and solidarity payments (50%) from the Premier League.

However, clubs who have been relegated from the Premier League within the last three years are not entitled to solidarity payments, meaning they will receive roughly half of that £11m figure from the EFL.

Additional to those central payments, clubs relegated from the Premier League in the past three seasons also receive 'parachute payments'.

Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United received an estimated £49m as 'first year' relegated teams. Leeds United, a 'second year' relegated team, received around £40m.

Watford and Norwich City – 'third year' relegated clubs - received around £17m.

Nearly one third (29%) of children in Wales live in poverty

NHS Wales spends £1 out of every £10 they have on diabetes, for instance, yet "most Type 2 diabetes cases are preventable" with healthy eating and exercise. Never mind we are 2nd in the World for recycling. We really need a Welsh government that will prioritise the Welsh people.

Play offs which two teams
at 06:34 14 Apr 2025

It looks like two places to play for who do you think it will be. Coventry and Bristol City for me.

Bristol City Played 42 points 64
Coventry Played 41 points 62
WBA Played 42 points 60
Middlesbrough Played 42 points 60
Millwall Played 42 points 60

Strange to think that we are only 2 wins off the 60 point mark.

Yet another issue for Wales, this really is beyond a joke. Never mind in the next election the extra members will sort our our problems.
