They go in there to watch the TV game, have a drink and talk to each other. Shouldn't a busker be sat outside in the cold with a thin dog anyway?

Presumably they'll be on the stage area in the main Ratcliffe Bar rather than the Dale Bar? The Trust have their desk in the Dale Bar at the only bit of the room with any space so doubt they'll be moving, which I'm sure they'll confirm. You're right though, people go in there for a drink and a chat and the room isn't really suitable as it's usually busy enough to ensure there would be no room for musicians.

It does specify the Dale Bar in the OS article Surely there's not going to be a cock-up for something intended to attract people in for a drink? Question: was this run past the Trust at the very recent meeting? If not, why? It's exactly the type of thing that should be sounded out (if you'll pardon the unintended pun).
