You know what in some ways I hope he does, because he deserves better than this. He always gives 100% even when he is the only one giving a toss.

You hope our best player is sold, because you don't think we're good enough for him and he's trying?

I would like to know why people are creating hysterical nonsense, when there is more than enough already?

No he won't.

There's enough stuff happening to get upset about with you making this tosh up.

Why would we sell our best player in the January window.

He looks like he has lost a yard of pace. When was the last time you seen a great individual goal from open play from him. All is good work is from dead ball situations, which on it's own merits being in the team.

Gee, I don't know. Perhaps he'll want to leave and hand in a transfer request, thus giving us no choice?

How that (highly likely) scenario never hit you is something that is beyond me.

If I were him I'd be making arrangements to leave ASAP. There's no point in staying at this trainwreck of a club where he's far and away the best player and so often the only one on the pitch giving a damn. We're sinking faster than the Titanic after it hit the iceberg.

Come on you Swans.

You must have poor memory. Have you already forgotten about the goal he scored against Arsenal, the one where he curled it in with his weak foot from outside the 18 yard box???

I wouldn't blame him if he kicked up a fuss to try and leave.

I would. If he's ok with his pay rise in the summer, then he should be willing to fight when the chips are down.

I have no doubt he will by the way, he seems like a model pro from the outside. Obviously he'd go if we went down because it would be damaging to his career at that point.

Been poor..he was involved in all 5 goals against Palace, I agree that's awful should have been more!!!

Sometimes its comments like these that make me not so bothered about relegation...wheres the fans that were pleased if a player done a bit of magic and we didn't even have to win the game!!

I'm ashamed that a player of Gylfi's class has to work with our shower of shit.
I'd have liked him to stay with us til his career finished.
Now he must be on pins to get out of here, with bad memories instead of good ones.

What have we become?

Its all part of Huw Jenkins master plan, he's got his eye on a Villa in the Maldives.

I'd be beyond surprised if there aren't exit clauses in that shiny new contract, but I actually think he will see the season out too. Unless the 'club' doesn't want him to, or Totty would really want him back. He's our biggest asset but I don't think he can cut it at a higher level than mid table, so he'll probably go to Stoke or West Brom or suchlike if and when we hit the skids.

That all depends on what promises were made to gylfi when persuading hin to sign on.

I'm quite certain he would not have extended if he knew just how much of a calamity our transfer window was and what type of manager we had in mind if FG was going.

I said this month's ago, siggy looked peed off in the first 10 games of the season, like he had a major sulk on, maybe he was conned into signing on? After all he wouldn't be the first to be fed with a load of bullcrap down there !
