Strange one. Decent squad player, not sure I'd start him ahead of Fulton though. We may sign him, but no way will we pay £10m

He's more of a fetcher and carrier than Fulton whom I regard as a defensive midfielder.
Could be a great loan option to play in front of Leon and give us the all important tempo that our game is missing at the moment.

That would help our wingers, Gylfi and Llorente gain a second advantage and provide us with more chances.

Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

A fine example of our extensive scouting network.

Get that bloke back who was a bit average last time.

Yes, that just about sums it up.

Dineen or his internet sycophants will be along to tell you that you're wrong, just like with Marvin.

can he play on the wing? We need someone.

Not sure at £10m it's him though.

We didn't see enough of him here to know what he's good at.

TC for £10m when we could have got Joe for £8m in the summer sums things up in a nut shell

Difference is that HJ was more interested in flogging his shares rather than being in the pocket of an agent I mean trying to recruit players...

It's a typo mun, should have read £1.0m.

Jokes aside, I would go to £4m at most.

£15 million Ryan Mason languishing in the Hull reserves should be a salutary lesson for our owners. I would prefer to get Sheehan and Grimes back for sweet FA.

Swansea City, THE Austerity Club.

Levy's still pîssing himself over the £5m we paid for Naughton.

It's a big NO from me.

If that's the extent of our January ambition, prepare for the Championship.

I think he personifies the modern player in the premier league era. He's obviously talented and has got that technical skill that we've had in other players over the years but he's been horribly underplayed.

I think he's the same age as me 24/25 and he just hasn't been forced into playing enough. I think he's the right signing just at the wrong time.

Cracking little player, we'd never pay £10million for him tho. Those comparing him to joe seem to be forgetting that he was a non existent figure in the Liverpool team, give this lad a run in a team and he could be a cracking player.

Signing him for 10 and being not willing to get Allen for 13 is complete and utter lunacy

Exactly. A tidy player no doubt but wouldn't lace allens boots at this point in time. 10m having a laugh and there's no way HJ would pay that much for him, even if he has lost the plot.

Yes it is because he still gets dividends and has a few millions worth of shares to flog to the next chancer that comes along.

For that price, daylight robbery.

Tidy player, always thought he had potential when he was here last time, £10m Nah!

I think it's a good signing. Hopefully it's £2M rising to £10M in the event of us reaching the CL.

Baston cost 15 million Tabanou 3.5 Eder 5 Grimes 2 Fernandez 8 after selling Chico for half the price.
Also sold Ayew and Williams for a combined 34 million and didnt replace.
Yet you say Jenkins would not waste 10 million on Carrol not so sure myself.
He is fukcing clueless.

Sub £5m for Carroll would be a decent bit of business assuming we don't feel there is anyone in that position threatening to break into the squad from the u23s.

I'd happily see Carroll arrive and Ki depart with a nice little profit made over the 2 deals. Although if it instead of bringing in a defender, then it's a no from me.

Imagine not stumping up the cash for Joe Allen then a few months later signing a poorer version for similar money !

It's so mad I actually think it may happen !

Carroll is a prospect and nothing more, I would be horrified if we blew 10 m on him .
