Same one as you, obviously without the rose tinted specs tho!

Please demostrate the "higher rate" with some numbers please?

8 in 3 overall, or 6 in 2 prem games. Both are a higher rate than before PC. If you want to dispute it go ahead, but don't be lazy, you'll have to work it out for yourself.

Back to the topic. This move is months overdue. He should never have been seen anywhere near the first team after he cūnted Guidolin off.

It's also a positive sign as it looks like those twàts on the board who've been sticking their beaks in (no pun intended) have had their wings clipped.

I await the post move interview...

How about other pairs of games like
Bournemouth 3 West Ham 4 = 7
Middlesbrough 3 WBA 3 = 6
Spurs 5 Palace 4 = 9
Yes they are much worse now.

Crap bit of business I'm afraid. His price is no doubt by his African Nations showing, so why ain't we capitalizing on Taylor's showing at the Euros. Success at an international tournament don't guarantee jack. Do we need reminding who scored the winner in the Euros?

Because teams have seen Taylor play since is my guess.

My Villa-supporting mate just texted me this:

"Ayew is a greedy player just like those lads at school who always kept the ball. I'm not sorry to see him go."

Though he also asked this of Taylor:

"Why is he awful?".

I'll keep quiet until after the deal is completed.

I would have said exactly that about Ayew from what I've seen, Self obsessed glory hunter.

Still, for Taylor, on the last day, he'll do. Clement can try and bash him into shape. Poor old Neil, trying his best, is definitely a lower league player, except in his and Moralee Bankrupt's head.

That'll be Chris Wathan the lifelong Aston Villa fan then presumably? Maybe he'll fack off to the Aston Evening Arsehole to get his poisonous stories. Double bubble.

Yu can't coach talent into somebody, but you can coach bad habits out of him. There's a good chance Clement will get the best out of him, not to mention the natural boost he will get from playing for a new club, and in the Premier league too.

The Difference is of course that we now have 'Super' coaches who will be able to transform him from an average Championship player into a potential 2017 ballon d'or candidate. You know, the ones many on here believe have finally sorted out our CB partnership, who are actually conceding at a higher rate than before they arrived. But hey, it's all good!

The last four matches (if you include Palace) we've conceded 2.25 goals per game (2.66 if you don't include Palace)
Even if you leave out Hull the two league matches PC has been solely responsible for have averaged 3 goals each
The previous four matches we conceded 3.25 per game
Hardly scientific and the defence has a lot to improve on, but how has it got worse since PC and co arrived ?

We did also play Liverpool and Arsenal - two sides widely acknowledged to be pretty handy going forward.

Before Clement, we conceded 3 at West Brom, 3 at Boro, 4 at home to West Ham and 3 at home to Bournemouth.

Well he's still in Swansea.

Just saw him in his car outside his kids school. He was trying to negotiate his way around the lollipop lady.

He has been trying to get up there all day but as soon as he gets within 30 yards of Villa Park, he turns around and scurries back the way he came.

What is taking so long???

Burnley just announced the signing of Robbie Brady over the PA at Turf Moor. Are we gonna do the same?

Would be a monumental mess up if we don't close this one
