Right decision BUT in reality the players can be ashamed of themselves. 21:46 - Dec 20 with 1942 viewsdickythorpe

Whoever we get in I hope he really puts these overpaid, egotistical, big time Charlies through the fecking mill!!!!

Yes Clement was negative with his tactics, but the commitment to improve and the desire to play for the shirt has been disgraceful from some this season.

Basic skills that a promising 15 year old would have are lacking from many in the squad.

Time for them to really take a good hard look (if they care)

Shame Brian Clough isn't about as he'd make these frauds look so small.

Couldn't agree more. Some have been stealing a living. Even a crap player can at least try.

Poll: Who wants the Swans to lose games get relegated to get rid of Huw and the yanks.

They should of been ashamed of themselves even if clement wasnt sacked, they should be embarrassed .

""Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make."

BUt realistically where were the goals going to come from this season.

Bony has been crocked last couple of seasons - so all his injuries this season are no surprise.

Ayew is a rabbit under the headlights in front of goal.

So then you are relying on Abraham (say he scores 10) then maybe Mawson scores 3 and Fer 3?

We haven’t got much of a chance really have we this season?

About time this thread appeared. Absolutely spot on Dicky. Why is it that in every other job, if you are failing, you get the sack but not if you are a professional PL player? Whoever is negotiating these contracts needs to
grow a pair and make a few amendments. In our case, the term "stealing a living" just doesn't cover it.

3 clubs get relegated each and every season - so at least 3 clubs set of fans will have the same sentiment - yet 3 clubs will be relegated.

Do any of them really care?

They are all wealthy young men, who, if remain free of serious injury, will be paid millions of pounds before they retire.

Apart from Rangel and Leon, none of them have any connection with Swansea, or Wales come to that, so they really don’t give a shite.

Well I disagree, if they weren't putting in any effort then I would agree, but they are putting in an effort.
From what you are saying do you really think that during the Euros Wayne Rooney suddenly decided that he couldn't gieve a toss about England?
In the space of 45 minutes he went from a top class player to one who couldn't trap or control the ball, couldn't pass to a player in his own team and couldn't beat a single player on the field.
That had nothing to with "Lack of Commttment" and everything to with total commitment being overcome by total lack of self confidence.
If it can happen to that calibre of player, loss of self confidence can happen at any level.
Even more so when the whole team is suffering and can see no way of satisfying the fans by scoring goals, because none of them are very good at it.
