Interesting. Is that the way it works then? They can just give credit but not payment as long as they only use the RL quotes, even though obtaining them was your work in the first place?

Even if it's in the public domain, the author retains copyright, so they cannot rip things off without credit. Many will try until challenged, sadly. |  |
