Winning a General Election as the leader of the Labour Party in the United Kingdom is certainly a very unique achievement.
Let's hope Sir Kier is able to oust the far left that have since riddled the party and perhaps, then, we can see what a Conservative government with credible opposition can do.
Define “Opposition”
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................
Apparently that's the highest rank of knighthood that can be conferred.
Given the fact that this despicable 'human' is demonstrably a lying war criminal; what does this say about those who 'govern' us, and in whose interests do they actually represent?
If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--forever.

We simply need to stop giving out Knighthoods and Damehoods.
We no longer have an Empire either
No Govt seems to have the guts to rid ourselves of this anachronism
I think Sir Tony has now replaced Sir Jimmy as my favourite Knight of the realm. Fantastic stuff.
If this doesn't show how utterly corrupt and rotten the UK establishment is it's hard to know what will. The public in this country are like children clinging to the idea that Father Christmas exists.

I could very well be wrong but I think you're assessment of the public is wrong , most people I know and read comments from have very little time for a system which in its concept was worthwhile & perhaps even honourable but for too long now degraded by the very people it rewarded.

Obviously the people that give out these awards, haven't given any consideration to the publics reaction.
I don't know who is actually responsible for giving these awards, but whoever it is, should be named in the media immediately, I do hope it's not Boris, because if it is, he's just handed his critics another big stick to beat him with.

Decided by The Honours Committee. Then it is put to The Prime Minister for scrutinising. Then handed to The Queen. Boris could have stopped it yes. But chose not to. I wonder why.

Maybe it was a bit ott but I was referring to the wider power structure as a whole rather than the honours system itself.
This one really feels like rubbing our collective noses in it. Maybe that was the point, who knows?

Then the honours Committee need a good boot up the ar*e for proposing the tw*t, and Boris a bigger one for approving it.
Although one of Blairs many crimes was to ruin the Labour party, so maybe this was a belated payback gift from Boris.

It's a old boys thing. Boris will be chumming up with Tony and his mates when it is time for him to have a knighthood. They are all from the same place Flashberryjack.

It goes back many years when Lloyd George (Lib) was flogging Honours for his own gain. Labour no better. Its why the whole Honours system needs abolishing in its entirity. Nothing but nothing would unite this country more.

Phillip Green a prime example of why there should not be honours. A fraudulent man who owes billions, stole pension pots, yet was still backed by MPs to keep his knighthood.

Or just stop giving out gongs to nonces and war criminals. It's not a good look.

Probably because Blair honour was given by the queen and not the Hinours committee. The Queen alone gives the Knights of the Garter award.
Never let the facts get in the way of an anti Tory bash.
