Oh dear...
I feel like we can see now how out of his depth he was.

Look at the difference to the recent interview with MW.

It's hard to see how we went from high expectations, with one of the bigger budgets in the Champ to "little old QPR, just lucky to be there" in such a short space of time

Just going to throw it out there though, he has a better points per game ratio than Marti this season.

He wasn’t for me, and i’m glad we got Marti when we did, but I genuinely believe that the myth overtook the man.

But if we based Marti just on this season then we'd all think he wasn't good enough. The fact is he worked wonders last season so has credit in the bank. Ainsworth was unconvincing to say the least in the first season, and catastrophic the following.

Ok, but it’s often forgotten that Ainsworth also got some wonder results (Burnley and Watford I think) to keep us up and arguably without the resources Marti was given.

Let me be clear, it didn’t work under Ainsworth and I’m not throwing shade at Marti. I just think a lot of the criticism of GA is thinly veiled snobbery (not saying you are guilty of that) but when you compare results and take resources into account then his record wasn’t that bad.

I think it highlights the issue with a radical change in style and man management between coaches.

The type of motivation that GA used against Burnley worked for some of those players.

If the club cannot settle on a "type" of player and "style" of football then any coach is going to struggle to adapt his style to fit the current group of players.

It does feel like only QPR is capable of these complete collapses within a season, where a squad suddenly fall off a cliff

We've had these now under many many different managers and groups of players. The only constant is the club and owners.

Or do other clubs frequently go on record breaking streaks without winning or scoring?

Couldn't agree more.

Coaches (and player targets) should fit the club and not the other way round. Lurching from system to system has created a sort of Frankenstein squad which doesn't work for anyone.

I'm not 100% convinced by Martí Cifuentes, his achievement with us last season Is history and means nothing bearing In mind our current league position, It's our dreadful current league position that interests me.

Loved Ainsworth as a footballer for us and was delighted when we appointed him as our Manager, sadly I was also delighted when he got the bloody sack, that's not right and It's a shame how things worked out for him and us, my lasting memory of him was the Haka video, It was gut wrenchingly embarrassing for all concerned. I think when GA as Manager here his heart was In the right place but his coaching brain wasn't, I couldn't watch his post match Interviews he looked bloody poorly to me.

Not sure I could take another Managerial change, I seriously do not want us In League One either.

This club needs a major feel good factor and It needs It PDQ.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.
