Liam was putting together a report but we couldn’t find space for the content. Overall they like him a lot. Only complaint seems to be his marking at times. Has now fitted into a role pretty much the same as he had at Swansea.

Cheers Keith. I was one of the supporters who wanted him gone as I thought we needed a change. That's not to say I disliked him as a person/captain and wished him well in his new venture. Just curious whether he was capable of playing differently and we never utilised or benefitted from it or whether he's proved a leopard can't change it's spots.

I wish our club could be in their position. 5th in the table, ambitious owners who seem to know what they are doing. What's not to like.

He’s a quality footballer who would fit into any team tbh. He’s a safe pair of hands, has utilised his talents to provide him with stability and enough money for the rest of his life. No way should he have turned down 120k a month at Coventry. Despite being close to 30 he is the sort of player who could easily remain in the championship for at least five years. Not sure about the Premier League. But I don’t think he would embarrass himself. You would think the transfer included a promotion clause, not sure. Basically his fee (around 3.5M) The terms of those payments are shocking as far as I am concerned. However, it covered the Melker Widell fee which I would imagine if the club are thinking correctly is on those same terms. I think we will be a better side long term without him.

4 ex Swans for Coventry tonight on 14:39 - Mar 29 with 520 views | Treforys_Jack | I watched the game last night and he played exactly the same, very often the deepest Coventry player between the Coventry centre backs. He's also on corner and free kick duty amazingly. He's a luxury player that you can acomodate when you have a strong attacking ethos, but when the team is struggling to hit the proverbial barn door with a banjo he rightly becomes under scrutiny as to what he actually provides for the team. Safe 5yd passes doesn't cut it when he is capable of so much more.
