The car apparently doesn’t seem to suit him or so he says but Oscar’s getting a tune out of it. That’s the ultimate difference between the good and the great. Schumi, Lewis, senna, alonso could always get more out of the car than 99%
Lando will get up from 10th tomorrow even if Jeddah is difficult to overtake, he just needs to keep his nose clean.
Speaking of Lewis is he on the wane now? Looks like he’s lost a tenth or 2.
Another point is round seven is where the flexi wing rules change, could shake up the order a bit.

Watching Sky today where they wax lyrical over Lando being open and honest etc. Too tough on himself. I don’t see that with Max nor Oscar. At the top of any sport you have to be mentally strong to the point of being self centered and obnoxious. That is Max. Oscar? well he’s just cold….and Maclarens best bet to break Max.
Hamilton needs time to find the way to drive the Ferrari. He’s getting closer to Charles…which is the measure that should be used. It’ll be interesting how things progress in the next four or five races. | | | |

Mixed feelings after that. 4th not bad when starting 10th but I can’t help thinking that if Verstappen had been in the same situation he’d have at least got a podium finish. Why I’m comparing the two I don’t no as there’s no comparison..

He recovered well but yet again nearly blew it with a penalty after his pit stop. Yes he finished over 5 secs ahead but that’s not the point. He needs to maintain focus and stop being a child. Oscar has matured a lot since last year and I have to say currently he is the only driver capable of challenging Max, and after todays race Max realises that big time. | | | |

Another blunder was overtaking Hamilton at the first part of the double DRS allowing Hamilton to pass him immediately on the second part. Once fair enough but to make the same mistake on the next lap is sheer stupidity. Even one of the rookies would have learnt quicker.
He needs psychological help because at the moment Oscar is living rent free in his head. | |
