I think poor is an understatement to be honest. They have been set up very badly. They’ve allowed Cardiff to get the pass away every time. Little cover anywhere. Cardiff have been good too to be fair to them. There’ll be some tired legs tomorrow. Deserve the win. |

It’s obvious they want this game much more than Wrexham, for a good few reasons probably. Their workrate to be fair is superb but they can put it all into one game where there’s a great incentive but they can’t do this every game. No team can. |

What happens if you can see no merit in either winning which is how I feel at the moment. |

And the head injury when the ball hit him in the face last game. Embarrassing that, looked like he’d been hit by a cannonball. |

Your point is valid but I think Sheehan will want to give us the best chance on paper at least. That said, there’s a good case that your pick would be more effective as they may put more effort in than established firdtvteamers. |

The win and the manner of the performance are two different things though. I’m with FB if we take each game individually, 3 points regardless of the performance. But we have to look at the bigger picture and understand we are not going to win every game playing badly. We need a plan, a strategy, a set of tactics that increase our chances of winning every game. This is why I don’t think Sheehan is the right coach because I see nothing inventive or training ground driven in any of the games. Every game is the same and I don’t see too much of an improvement. Don’t forget, our 4 wins this season are against the teams in the bottom 4. That’s not a coincidence. But just for the record, delighted with the win and 3 points yesterday😁 |

It may not be to do with the legs but to do with Idah getting time. If he knows he’s going off to facilitate that then he can put more energy in. As I said in another post, I really have no idea though. |

I thought this was on TV but can’t see it. I can see Spurs v Newcastle, the sort of game you can see week in week out but not our game??? Not even S4C could be bothered🤬 |

I think J247 made an excellent point on another thread where Vipotnik puts everything into 60 minutes as it’s predetermined he’s coming off at that point. Totally agree about Widell. |

No ‘think’ about it 247, it certainly papered over the cracks. No real efforts on goal from rehearsed plays, just two brilliant thunderbolts. That win, as welcome as it is has given me no more confidence in Sheehan sadly. We need an experienced coach and tactician which Sheehan is not. Sorry to sound like a Res (a stuck record) but it’s an important point I believe😁 |

Certainly proved a lot of doubters wrong today. I’ve a little sympathy with Sheehan to be honest. He didn’t know he was going to score the second. Thankfully he did. But it’s a squad game, a long season with lots of games in compressed periods of time. Idah needs to get game time. I was hoping when I saw him coming on that he’d replace Cullen but that never happened. |
