Ordinarily we’d be cheering on Preston who if they were to win would keep Derby down there taking more pressure off us.
But as we are all aware there’s a little more on this game which may make many a Swans supporter hope Derby get the win!
For me, I’m staying sensible and hope for a Preston win. We all know that lot will survive anyway so let’s just think about ourselves. I will of course see the funny side if Derby do win though😁
What do we want here folks? A draw keeps them both down there but consequently one point better. A home win keeps Luton there. Anything but an away win I’d have thought. My preference would be a home win.
Not a new proposal but an interesting article stating Sam Warburton’s views on scrapping one region. Is this the right thing to do, should it be two or does the problem lay far deeper than this and a root and branch exercise be carried out from the very top to the very bottom?
Who would you propose getting scrapped? The Dragons would have to be first on the list but it gets trickier if more than region has to go.
Stoke 3 Cardiff 3. Cardiff were 2 up. I may not be popular for saying this but their attitude on the pitch is much better than ours. If we’d been 2 up then 3-2 down that would have been it. Can we buy a few cans if that attitude before tomorrow?
We are hearing a lot that players who we’ve brought in are not yet match fit?
So what does that mean exactly? Is it simply that after running for a short period of time they are blowing out of their backsides? Is it a mental attitude fitness where being in a new club, getting to know new people they haven’t settled in yet? Or is it to do with them not yet having got to grips with the tactics the team play (don’t laugh!). Or are they carrying knocks that they haven’t quite recovered from?
I really can’t believe that these players who are young, athletic with all the tools needed to get fit quickly such as a super class gym and facilities, personal training regimes, physiotherapists, dieticians and chefs can’t get match fit quicker. By God I’m 63 and given all that they have at their disposal I could be fitter quicker!!
