Starmer reversing on 16:15 - May 8 by SullutaCreturned | Well the ability to negotiate our own trade deals is a brexit benefit, it's just a shame that the government that "delivered brexit" was so utterly useless and filled with chancers that getting any benefit from brexit will take a lot longer than it should have. These deals are starting to add up and the India deal is starting of low but hopefully will yield bigger benefits in the years to come. It seems to be an inadvertent favour from Trump, he has pissed off so many countries they are also looking to help each other out now, free tarde just to piss Trump off. There is another brexit benefit, one for the school leavers, ther is a shortage of trades and so lots of room for those willing to work hard. My son has already signed up to college to do a course in Vehicle body repair where, with 5 years eperience you can earn 45-55k per year and even as an apprentice you can earn over 30k. People can call breit a disaster but with every disaster there come opportunities. [Post edited 8 May 17:12]

As you say, just get on with things. There's nothing to be gained by arguing about decisions made 10 years ago. | |
