Swansea City : A barrel load of cash to come ? on 12:50 - May 11 with 1424 views | Martyn | Keith. In the revenue stream section. How much of increase is that compared to last year. Also hear rumblings we are going to give a big bump to our commercial revenue somehow. What do we know about that?

Commercial revenue has to increase and Tyler Morse amongst others will be reviewing that, obviously Cravatt and Cohen as well. It’s not a major increase but it is more. A reminder if anything as to the situation at the Swans for the coming season. The balance sheet is looking much better., Obviously Modriċ has put in 3.2M in sterling, what with that and the Piroe £2M will be used for isn’t known. They will work with the Coventry agreement for Grimes and implement that into transfers pro rata I would think. The club have saved on Grimes salary but paid out an extra £7K a week on top of that for O’Brien. However that’s also now a salary saving of around 80k a month. Add that to the on paper quarter of a million pounds a month saved and the whole picture gets better. It all sounds a bit rosy but the costs of running the football club are huge. What I do know is we are in a much better place now than since 2017 with regards to ownership.

I've always found the merchandise available on the club site (outside of kits) is extremely limited and poor. They could add a lot more choices and different things easily E.g I randomly picked an NFL teams site and went into their online store. Acessories - 520 different items Hone and Office gits 800+ items Collectibles 360 items Thats not including non official marked clothing. e.g. Sell a tshirt with just Luka Modric on the back and the swans crest on the front. Boom, nice chucnk of change Detroit Lions shop link https://shop.detroitlions.com/detroit-lions-collectibles/t-58598031+d-14441070+z Example. How many would buy a wall plaque with the likes of Alan Curtis, Leon Britton, Lee trundle etc on it. There is so much more we could do with the shop stuff. Dont know how to post the pic [Post edited 11 May 14:42]

There seems to be more available in the shop than online for some reason. Personally I think there is enough choice anyway, with a colour/style change every season to carry more lnes would not be cost effective, stock has to be massively discounted near the end of the season to clear the stock. There are other ways of increasing merchandising sales, I remember when the new kit came out in time for fathers day and there was a queue around the stadium, marketing has to improve.
