Torbay drowning 14:16 - Jun 8 with 1089 viewscontroversial_jack

A 50 year old man drowned at Torbay, Gower. A strange one this , as it's usually a calm safe beach for swimming.

Next to Three Cliffs Bay. My father used to say swim there only on an incoming tide close to high tide.

Sad to see someone lose their life there.

I wouldn't swim at 3 cliffs. What makes 3 cliffs dodgy is the river flowing back to the sea and creating rip currents with the channels in the sand, but Torbay has none of that.

Awful tragedy, RIP

Three Cliffs is a simple no.
