Contact has been made, but that wasn’t the decision that was ruled an issue. The laws clearly refer to physicality and being able to use that. The games yesterday had numerous instances of that. All allowed.
A keeper keeping ahold of the ball for over eight seconds is now given as a corner for the opposition. Just book him ! Madness.

Yea, inthihgth incorrected that, so my next question is why doesn’t the referee tell them before a free kick is taken. They are fussy enough with distance between the ball and the wall. It seems ridiculous that they allow a free kick knowing there is already an infringement. | |
