This came up in a conversation today.

The latest incarnation of ASB exists and plays still, I believe, but they changed the name so are no longer called ASB.

For those of who us played for or managed ASB, it’s a bit sad, but it means it could return in some form of reincarnation (vets?). But a lot of us who were heavily involved at various points are a) a lot older, b) with family, c) not all living in London anymore.

Some mixed news there!

Glad it’s running in some form.

Remember getting in touch with your good self at one point but ended up playing for another Sunday league side more locally.

A lot fatter now! Maybe we should start a ASB walking side 😆

Manchester based with no skin in the game, but played vets football for past 8 yrs and absolutely loved it. Fully recommend to anyone in two minds about giving it a go/feels too old etc.
hopefully it cracks on in whatever guise.

If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled. PG Wodehouse
