Nigel Clough 12:55 - Dec 5 with 260 viewsswamp_thing

Nigel Clough needs to start thinking twice who he's praising and who he's pointing at as scape goats after matches. Last week it was Dean Moxey who was scape goat for giving away a free kick (which in fact looked like play acting from the Burnely player). So out he goes for the Norwich game. In comes Gareth Roberts, the man who gave away a penalty and was sent off against Scunthorpe. Not a word from Mr. Clough after that episode.

Yesterday he singled out Barker and Leacock as the culprits, despite the above mentioned Roberts not once during the game managed to stop the Norwich wide men from crossing the ball and once gave the ball away only for Leacock to clear up in the penalty area.

And who did he single out as worthy of praise? Luke Moore. Well, Mr. Clough, how many attempts at goal had our striker yesterday? None. Apart from his goal assist, I hardly noticed him. Only one player stood out as awsome yesterday; Kris Commons. Not a word from Mr. Clough. Maybe he'll be on the bench against Bristol City???
