In his post-match interview Marti says he has ideas why the team sometimes (quite often) plays so badly in the first half. He's thought this for sometime.

So what is the reason? And why hasn't he been able to sort it? It looks like the players get above themselves after a few decent results and think they can stroll through the game or get lucky. But if Marti can prepare them to play well from the kick off against Preston why can't he repeat it? I wonder if he thought this was an unwinnable game after losing Cook and Morrison so didn't prepare the team thoroughly, but I think that's unlikely.

Anyway absolutely dire, even worse than the first half against Oxford. Hard To pick out any positives, but at least Clarke-Salter and Fox got game time and there were some flashes of Chair getting back to his best. And Ashby is proving his worth as cover.
