Much more like it.

Well done Will. A win would have been great but a point off the form team is great.

The back 3 looked solid, Quarshie and Wood were physically immense.

Not sure McCarthy stood much chance with their goal, a really fast spinning deflected ball.

Fellows showed some really nice touches and Arma hustled non stop. Stewart pur himself in all the right positions and played well.

Hopefully our season is now underway. COYR.

We were definitely the better team today and other than that age old problem of not putting chances away looked much nearer to the team we want to be
Every player was worth his place and he should persevere with tha starting eleven
Ross Stewart put himself about and looked just about drained when he came off but has earned another start
Of the subs Robinson looked lively and should be the natural replacement/sub for Fellows
Fellows however should be one of the first names on the team sheet
Special note to the referee:- Players other than goalkeepers are NOT allowed to control the ball with any part of their hand or arm We had a clear penalty shout in the second half and a good half a shout in the first half

Lots to like about the performance. All 3 CBs won the vast majority of their battles, Azaz and Fellows were involved in everything good going forwards and Azaz just needs to sort his shooting out. What a difference it makes having a focal point to the attack - Ross Stewart didn’t get everything right but won a good number of flick ons which just needed Arma, Azaz or Fellows to gamble on. The equaliser was an odd one and from my angle I thought it was a decent block by Wood so would like to see it again. Keep playing that way, the partnerships will develop and the results will come.

I agree about the ref. I think Boro players could have caught the ball and it not have been given handball. Dreadful.

A good performance but too many good chances wasted. If Saints can use this to find a new level of confidence and coolness in front of goal, we have the making of a far better team.

At eight times zones away, I confess that until yesterday I'd not got to see the lads play since the Wrexham match. Yesterday we looked organized, and I didn't think Boro offered much going forward. (Their goal doesn't go in without that freak deflection.) I have to say, though, that it didn't look like we were playing with any strikers; we were ghosts at best in the attacking third. Until we can find people who can reliably put the ball in the net i don't see us proceeding very far up the table.
