Brilliant preview, perfectly pitched. I found the Andy Sinton piece quite moving, lovely tribute.
Like others have said I'm so pleased to hear you're taking a step back from Twitter. Life is too short, too precious and tough enough as it is without consciously choosing to pick up our screens and log in to a place to read what the angriest, craziest people (who may or may not even be real) are shouting into the void or randomly directly at us. Hard not to get sucked in or take some of it on board sometimes so definitely best to avoid.

Never forget those things on Twitter aren't real things being said by real people. Anytime you feel an emotional knock or your thought processes getting caught up reading any of that made up manipulative nonsense, come back and read this thread.
The love and appreciation is clear, is real and is going to last beyond this current episode and its barrage of fake sh1t.

I watched the Leicester game. Wanted to check out Kelman and Marti.
To be fair to you Pricey, Charlton completely dominated Leicester. Their press was ferocious and watching Leicester TRYING to play out from the back was a familiar sight. They only won because of a moment of individual brilliance from Fatawu who they have already had £30 mill offers from the Prem for.
Pains me to say Marti was thoroughly outcoached by Nathan Jones.
If Charlton are even half as 'on it' against us we are in big trouble next week. |
