 | News Comment | Ivan Juric Finally Proves His Worth For Southampton With Sulemana Transfer at 23:50:23
@IanRC - yes, its very sad to see sooooo many women leaving the squad, have we even barely got a Team in situ still?! Know there's been 3 new faces through the door today, but we lost something like 10! And experienced heads too - new ones are young. A lot more recruitment needed, and soon! |

Agree with most of the above Nick. But reckon Stephens will likely be 'around' - otherwise why renew his contract? - and kept for changing room leadership and knowledge of the club and players, mentoring, etc. - but hopefully won't be on the pitch too much! Believe Bednarek has a £6m relegation release clause now active, FYI. Surely ABK is off, finally ... although if Will Still likes the look of him ...?! But would then need to renew contract ideally, as only 1yr left! So probably Sell. THB = tough one?! We would want at least money back, if not slightly more. But would anyone pay that, certainly not Burnley!! Suppose, if we are confident (as you can be!) that we WILL get promoted - there's the option to loan out our best players, with the dangle of premiership (with us) next season (potentially?!), but making sure we get all their wages covered and a decent loan lump sum fee. Guess we Will see ..... at some point! |

Hi all. New user here - but long time reader of the site. By my counts, we have a MASSIVE squad 'available' to Will Still, including the 'youth', we have: GKs Aaron Ramsdale, Gavin Bazunu, Alex McCarthy + Ollie Wright, Josh Jefferies CBs Jan Bednarek, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Jack Stephens, Ronnie Edwards, Nathan Wood, Armel Bella-Kotchap, Joshua Quarshie + Joachim Kayi Sanda, Zach Awe, Nico Lawrence LBs Welington, Ryan Manning, Charlie Taylor, Juan Larios RBs Yuki Sugawara, James Bree CMs Flynn Downes, Shea Charles, Will Smallbone, Joe Aribo + Joe O'Brien-Whitmarsh, Cam Bragg, Romeo Akachukwu ACMs Mateus Fernandes, Kuryu Matsuki LWs Kamaldeen Sulemana, Sam Edozie, Jay Robinson, Ryan Fraser + Daouda Traore, Will Merry RWs Tyler Dibling + Moses Sesay, Victor Udoh, Sufianu Silah Dibaga (?) STs Ross Stewart, Paul Onuachu, Cam Archer, Adam Armstrong, Ben Brereton Diaz, Juan Santos da Silva + Dom Ballard, Princewill Ehibatiomhan (?), Baylee Dipepa, Nicholas Oyekunle (?) That's a BIG squad, already! So obviously all depends on who is sold .... or loaned out. But we look a bit light at RB, RW & ACM still ... although some players are versatile and can 'fill in' at different positions. |
