The directors have invested quite heavily in this squad so far and I would assume they are expecting a positive position high up the league in the play offs if not in the top 2. We are mid table at the moment and would probably have been higher if concentration levels in 3 of the home games had not wilted causing dropped points.
I can vividly remember the old days at the Vetch when signing players was a rarity and we just got on with watching our new free transfers doing their bit......times have changed and expectations mean we must achieve promotion to the promised land. I for one am happy to be a solid Championship team |

Hopefully we will approach the game with positivity which we showed against the Owls a couple of weeks ago instead of playing in a deep defensive shell allowing Birmingham to dictate play. We can win this 2-1 |

On paper this squad is probably stronger than the one that achieved promotion to the promised land last time. If AS can keep the players believing in his different tactics for each opposition that we come up against and keep injury and suspension free there is no reason why we cannot at least get in to the play offs. The board have done what they promised and I hope the missing fans now come back to support the team |

A very positive promising pre season so far compared to recent years. The owners seem to be more aligned to the clubs championship needs. Sheehan has got the backroom staff he wanted and I hope the players will gel very quickly. With very few injuries I can see us in the top 6 and the play offs..... |

There is a general air of optimism when I speak to fellow fans this summer compared to negativity last year...good very early signings....few false rumours as the club are keeping transfer dealings close to their chest...yes positivity reigns |
