Thing is, if he was happy here and WBA came in for him he'd still leave regardless. Bigger club with more money and better infastructure |

Daniel Bennie N/A. Can't really rate him after 3 games Liam Morrison 7/10. Good player who looks a decent signing Hevertton Santos 3/10. Complete waste of time and money which seemed obvious from the start Paul Nardi 7/10. A decent keeper at this levek Zan Celar 5/10. Probably some potential there But 2 goals in 20 games is awful Jonathan Varane 7.5/10. Has a very high ceiling but inconsistent Karamoko Dembele 6/10. Goals and assists good, but injured for a huge chunk and can be a big liability Koki Saito 7.5/10. Good winger who has adjusted well to the level Madsen 4/10. For what he cost he's been a huge let down. Some sparks here and there but a long way to go Harrison Ashby 5/10. Filled in OK, but not really the required standard, not our player and a waste of money that we will see no return on [Post edited 24 Apr 13:01]

Fans can make a difference. Hopefully we sing his name on Saturday nice and loud. We kept him in a job after the Stoke game. I think it's often forgotten that the crowd had turned on Warnock when he was sacked (MK Dons away in the cup was pretty ugly) |

The issue with this is that the players that got you there likely don't play like this. So now you have to bring in 11 new players. Even if you took QPR as an example. If this squad was promoted (don't laugh) you'd immediately look to replace Paal, Morgan, Smyth, Saito, Madsen, Andersen, Celar, Kolli with the type of player you suggest. Plus if any of those new players don't work out suddenly the 'rejects' are back in the team. It's very very hard and lord knows what the answer is. But it's not doing what the last 6 teams have done! |

A lot of people trying to play detective here. Article is from a good journo who knows his QPR stuff. Marti thinks certain aspects of the club need improving, CN doesn't. They are arguing about it. They'll have a meeting to see if they can reconcile their differences. It would be an absolute bollock dropping by the club if they let him go. He's loved by the fans (and seemingly the players). Nobody would begrudge him moving to a bigger club if the opportunity arises, but to toss it all in over seemingly small fries is such a shame. It's probably a salvageable situation if Marti and CN want to salvage it |

Leeds fans have very little affinity for Farke as well. He isn't overly popular. They should 100% get rid if a better manager is available, but uou are just as likely to end up with a Van Nistlerooy as you are an Ireola |

I remember we were linked with him that summer. He couldn't have been as bad as Barton! |

It's nowhere near good enough Frey - Can't play 90 minutes Kolli - A teenager who isn't really a striker Kelman - Never done it at this level and could just be having a hot streak at Orient Celar - Played 1/2 a season in England and looked awful doing so |
 | Forum Reply | The Madsen rehabilitation thread at 13:45 22 Apr 2025
Madsen was OK. Hung out to dry in the first half by being played left wing, which was ridiculous. Produced a great pass when in the middle for the goal. But he's only really an asset if you have two destroyers and runners behind him. He's not really worth building a team around at all if you look at his body of work across the season |

I'm not sure in a season where we've seen Morgan, Kolli and Lloyd establish themselves as prominent members of the first team squad (for better or worse) we need to be screaming to play the kids. With our injuries and form the kids have had real opportunities to step up and these 3 have taken theirs. To have blooded 3 youth team players this season represents our best season for doing so in as long as I can remember. Plus Dembele, Morrison, Varane all 23 or under. Age profile of the squad is absolutely fine. Would like to see Sutton get a few minutes off the bench though |

Well they have Jack Stephens (club captain), Taylor Harwood-Bellis (England international), Jan Bednarak (25 games this season) at the club who would probably be ahead of him. If they cash in on Harwood-Bellis then no chance we get Ronnie. If they don't then perhaps we get to loan him for a season. Otherwise I'm sure they'll br asking for £10m for him |

This is good news. With Dunne, Paal and potentially Colback, Andersen and Frey all leaving we need some consistency |

That's how they got it to Saudi Arabia in 2034. Because Europe, S America and Africa would've hosted 4 years before. Also madness that we've just accepted it will be a winter World Cup and the mess that brings. It does mean they are somewhat screwed for 2038 because unless they go back to America there is nowhere to host it |

You do feel the bones of a semi decent 433 side is there for next season Nardi, RB, Morrison, JCS, Vale, Morgan, Varane, Field, Smyth, Chair, Kelman/Frey/Celar You don't HAVE to play all your wingers because you like them. If Dembele and Saito need to be coming off the bench then so be it. Their time will come. I udnerstand why they spent the money on Madsen, 6 ft4 goalscoring midfielder sounds perfect. But in reality not so much the case. God I hope Marti sticks around. Would be utter madness to get rid now |

You could make a wonderful team of loan players we have had ....................Camp.............. Walker.....Davies....Edwards.....Tosic Kennedy...Idiakez...Johanssen...Cook ..............Austin....Taarabt............ |

He's been deeply average for Cardiff all season 2 goals and 1 assist all season for £15k a week. In hindsight thank goodness he didn't sign that contract! He may very well score on Saturday, but I certainly don't think we miss him |

This is 100% where we are. Chair, Field and Cook out (plus JCS) means the waifs and strays need to step and they just aren't good enough. We knew that anyway, Paal, Smyth, Colback, Fox are players that should be coming off the bench not who you are resting your hopes of a result on! |

I think he's just older and his body can't do what it was doing 12 months ago. He sort of did the job that was required of him in that he helped keep us up last season. We were supposed to move on from him this season (Dembele, Saito and Madsen), and perhaps we can argue that we have as when people are fit he's not really anywhere near the first team. Think he's a bit of a comfort blanket for Marti in so much that he is a lovely player and understands the game very well. But the difference between what he can offer and what he does offer is vast. If he's starting a game then we are in trouble |
 | Forum Reply | This season......your thoughts. at 10:44 25 Mar 2025
Since January we haven't really been in any sort of relegation trouble and if we pick up the the likely 3 wins from the last 8 we will end up roughly where we all thought (12th - 16th). What's been a shame is that 2 of the three players we spent good money on have been desperately underwhelming and I suppose that leads in to Clive's point that next season is a worry because with Colback, Dunne, Cook, Andersen, Paal likely leaving you are ripping out a hell of a lot of experience and will be back relying on Celar and Madsen to step up, which they haven't looked like doing. Morgan will likely not be as brilliant as he was and Lloyd, whilst game, doesn't look up to scratch. We are going to have to re build the defence using Nourry's analytics which haven't exactly proved a resounding success so far |
 | Forum Reply | Dobbo Speaks at 12:47 24 Mar 2025
Certainly they've been superb, but let's not underestimate the good fortune of Tony Mowbray being mates with Dozzell's dad and therefore we were able to shift £15k off the wage budget which gave us a bit of wiggle room in January to sign Hayden, Frey and Andersen |
