Will probably end up they won't leave Fratton until 9:00 then a slow convey, so all 3 departure points meet up somewhere (maybe Winchester park & ride). Police escort to St. Marys, can't see them arriving before 10:00, giving them chance to have a beer or 2, then time for high level searches (bet they still get a flare in!!!) |

They have just been told to get to Fratton by 7:30 for security checks (crazy) so will be the same for us. Guess they will hold them up somewhere for all 3 pick-up points to join up. Security checks at the ground will take time
Still keeping the route to the ground secret. My guess is over the Itchin Bridge as it's open and easy to control |

I was there and definitely more than 900, but as you said, many buying up cheap tickets to boost their away tally. Serve them right if the club did not add tickets that had not been scanned though the turnstiles (I believe Norwich Could supply that info) |

Total overkill, he was using a bit of industrial language, the chief steward came over told him to stop (he did) He then came back with 2 heavies and asked him to leave, he went down with them (no problems, to argue his case, all very pleasant). They still wanted to chuck him out, then came 2 coppers who grabbed him and roughly dragged him out and handcuffed him, then 2 more coppers arrived plus extra stewards. (I was sat above the gate all this was happening) |

1- No programmes, but you could pay a pound for a team sheet
2 you could have watched the game for free from the bank behind the goal, even see both goals!!
3 plenty of places to eat and drink
4 We park where we want, we are Southampton, we park where we want!
5 stay the night in the very convenient Travelodge, could not be bothered to travel back same night |

Why not give him a new contract on vastly improved terms but insert a clause that he can have a release clause of say £50 million. Then tell him to prove his worth !!
I know it has been said his agent and family are pushing for him to move, apparently he will get a multi-million pound signing fee.
He must know he is not the finished player yet and some time in the Championship will make him a better player (better to start than be a small fish in a team) |
