I think "Hogan fell over on the ball" is a bit harsh. Ball over the top, Myles met it and headed it out but they retained possession and kept coming. Hogan put in a brilliant block, the couldn't get it out from under his feet/tried to protect it and no one offered support. |

Has anyone seen anything mentioned about a stream? I know last year NLTV had free streams of the group stage, don't know if this is still the case this year. EDIT: It's live on the National League YouTube channel, don't know if this is the case for all games [Post edited 12 Aug 15:31]

Agreed as a back up keeper, but I thought we needed to sign a 1st choice who could be pushed by Whatmuff, so we didn't have a 17yo keeper to start the season. I suppose this could still happen but it seems unlikely now. |

Keeper, initial one-year deal after trial. Haven't seen him play, but not the experienced head we seemingly needed to push Whatmuff for the no.1 shirt... [Post edited 31 Jul 16:09]

Both McBride and Burger are injured apparently. The former back in training today, Burger out for a further 4 weeks. This passed on from family who heard it from someone at the Grimsby game, who had seen them all in the gym, so it must be true! |

It was Jim's comment of people missing "for different reasons". Doesn't mean anyone's leaving, but easily read that way. |

Oliver Whatmuff, season-long loan from Man City. He's 17... |

One-year deal. Experienced, versatile, but ANOTHER midfielder? |

Based on the released list, we currently have a smaller squad than we did at the end of last season, even if we were to sign 3 keepers. I do agree with your point though, and since the players we've signed are ours and not on loan, it's an opportunity to keep the whole squad match fit. |

Suggests he'd be a leader on the pitch. He has his own coaching academy too. |

Signs, two-year deal. Defensive midfielder |

He's just first team coach according to the post. Taylor is assistant head coach. Clear as mud! Just checked and the official website lists McNulty as Head Coach. [Post edited 7 Jul 16:19]

Striker with 15+ goals in the last two seasons for a team in upper mid-table? He should flourish* in a team with as much of the ball as us *He'll get 5 [Post edited 4 Jul 17:11]

Nothing has been announced, but given the timescale I would be very surprised if he does now sign |

I can see McBride playing further forward, a mobile striker who has shown he can finish. Don't know if it's just me though. |

Signs, midfielder, two-year deal. 5'10". Miami born, came through at Salford and was on loan at Alty and Gateshead last year |

I don't understand his post-game responses. When he speaks generally, I like his honesty and he speaks well (I think he's got a journalism degree hasn't he, so this makes sense), so why when it comes to post match interviews does he roll out the same meaningless rubbish instead of keeping up the honesty? I admire him admitting about it being a learning curve as it humanises him, so why not say after matches "I got it wrong" or "the better team won" instead of "they can spend more" |
