Agree with the last paragraph, but don’t think Kane (who scored by the way) was the reason we conceded three v Senegal. |

Yeah I know where you are coming from, but that was no average Italy side. It was unbeaten in 50 matches or something. Always gets forgotten that. |

This isn’t a gift from QPR it’s legally mandated by the way. A good start but I’d imagine QPR, like the majority of clubs, will do the bare minimum to fulfil legal obligations. |

Well, on that logic, you must really despise Terry Venables and Bobby Robson. |

We don’t have a tight pitch. Massive myth. Critical thinking is built on what’s true. [Post edited 11 Jun 8:55]

So, I don’t know about anyone else, but I love the crispy bottom of the spud residue left in the pan after cooking roast potatoes. That’s not it… The other Sunday I bowl into the kitchen and spot some real chunky ones left over. ‘Touch!’ I thought. I whipped out a fork, prised a biggun off, and slung it in my mouth. Turns out my missus has soaked it in washing up liquid then got distracted with a phone call or something on the TV. |

There are few opinions that I’ll die on a hill for, but one of them is that Gareth Southgate pulled fcking miracles with this nation and was largely but not entirely pilloried for it. That said, plenty of great sides started with a wobble and I think Tuchel’s class will shine through. |

To be clear, I think better due diligence is a good thing. Personality disorders have cost us dearly. But we shouldn’t be looking for a new manager in the first place, and honestly, it could all be bullshit anyway. |

Exactly. Burnley had £90m worth of mitigation against stupid decisions. We don’t. [Post edited 10 Jun 17:54]

Lovely story. He gave me and some others more than the time of day in Austria two years ago. Seems like a lovely kid. Hope he makes it. |

Right next to a college and busy Tube station too as you know. Would be like shooting fish in a barrel for them. Just tried to log on it it says it's too busy and I'll be in a queue for 3 minutes. A good sign maybe (because it's busy) but I only want to access the book an appointment page. Feels like an unnecessary obstruction which lazy and impatient people like me find off putting. | Forum Reply | Delivery Drivers at 14:33 10 Jun 2025
Not an excuse, but some mitigation, they get paid on average 60p a delivery and are financially penalised if they are late. I did it briefly for some pocket money last summer. Couldn’t hack it and only made £150 over a month. Cost me that in petrol and the damage potholes did to my vehicle. Cutting corners makes quicker deliveries and saves drivers money. Monkeys / peanuts etc. [Post edited 10 Jun 14:34]
