I played a couple charity matches there and I know they had a few more over the summer too. So it definitely took a battering over the summer and looks the same as when I played on it. |

I can’t remember on what platform but they had a graphic saying 1200 sold so far so I’d expect a decent number but not the full 2800. I’ll be going with my girlfriend so that’s 1202 now. |

He supposedly watched all our games from last year so you’d hoped he’d have already learned all of this. |

Sounds good. £95 for season ticket holder for the corner lounge and £212 for the W12 restaurant for ST holders. |

Has anyone on here ever done this corner lounge hospitality? It says the seats are in South Africa Road stand. Are they regular seats or are you in the directors seating with the fancier hospitality seats? |

I liked the song (the tune, talking about west London and rangers) but my girlfriend always cringes when it’s sung. I used to think the song was funny but you hear other peoples opinions and how it makes them feel. You change the two words, it’s still a good song and you make others feel more comfortable and involved. The problem is there are people who have a mindset of F everyone else I’ll do what I want and resist the change to spite others. A sad way to be and hard to combat. What we’d need is organisation for chants like the ultras and fan groups around Europe. Spread the awareness and have a large enough group of people to drown out the old version of songs when people sing it. |

There’s a YouTuber called Pieface who films himself going to Plymouth away games and this guy is one of his mates. He always pops up with crazy little facts as well as the scorelines. |

I had a season ticket in X block and the guy behind me did not rate Taarabt. Always complaining about him. I think it was the first or second season back in the premier league and we were losing 2-0 at half time to West Ham. Game kicks back off and he’s ranting about how useless and shite we are. He then says that Taarabt is a waste of space and we should yank him off and get rid. I turned round and told him Taarabt was still on the bench and hadn’t been playing. A couple minutes later Taarabt comes on scores almost immediately. Guy barely celebrated the goal. I think some people are only happy when they’re miserable. |

😅😅😅 Had originally planned on going to the Páirc festival in Birmingham but changed our minds and will spend a couple days in the Cotswolds and heading towards Bath. So really, Coventry will actually be a big detour. |

I have a friend that knows a guy who has a firestick.. the cup games are on sky sports + and he can get the games on his firestick. So if a dodgy stream is what you go for, I’m sure you’ll find one. |

Keeping an eye out for these myself. Have a whole weekend away planned around the game. I only have 500 points and my girlfriend 200. Surely there should be no issue getting a ticket if there’s 2800 allocation right? 😅 |

I grew up in my grandparents house and my granddad is an Arsenal fan. There was never any risk of me becoming an Arsenal fan though because my dad took me to Loftus Road regularly from around 5 or 6 years old and there was never any changing my mind. My dad tells me he always knew I’d be a QPR fan for life after taking me to a midweek game in 97 or 98. QPR were losing and it was freezing cold. I was shivering and my teeth were chattering so my dad asked me if I wanted to leave but I said no. He kept asking and I kept refusing. I think we won that game but it was at least a draw because we had a late goal. It’s funny how important football can be in someone’s life because in the grand scheme of things it’s just a game and the results aren’t life or death but I spent my childhood going with my dad, late teens/early 20s with my best mate seeing us win the championship and the last couple years going with my girlfriend who’s not from the UK and had no interest in football but is now a season ticket holder. Even my dad’s got himself a season ticket this year. A lot of fond memories following this team. I couldn’t imagine following anyone else. Anyways, I’ll stop waffling and getting sentimental. |
