I have to admit I never actually found the stream on YouTube. Didn't miss much it seems. |

Been there once for a couple of days as a layover on our honeymoon, staying at our friend's flat who worked for Emirates. Hilarious heat in August. Anytime you went outside it was steam. And don't expect to find the finest houmus - I walked around the supermarket for a while before asking and was pointed to the chickpeas section - apparently they make it all at home! Different level in restaurants granted. |

It's Teddy Swims now, according to the caption. Prison tattoos and a Dubai-monitored physique. I'm only doing this because Inter are my official second team, having been to the San Siro once and been quite impressed. [Post edited 31 May 20:17]

Fcuk him and his fake honesty and ridiculous excuses. His Holloway impression is better than his professional footballer impression. |

They must be discussing the possibility of a double quadricep transplant with Anderson. That's the only thing I can imagine that means. |

You want us to buy Diogo Nascimento, Adrian Segecic and Mahamadou Nagida? Will we have any left for a right back? |

From the footage I saw it looked like he was having a back and forth with some of the people there, and he opens his car door and says something before driving forward. Some mixture of thinking the road is or should be open, not a Liverpool fan, tried to force his way down, gets into it with those around him, then accelerates off in a mixture of fear and anger - a few seconds of madness changes his and lots of other people's lives. Probably unhelpful speculation I know, but depressing whatever the reality of it was. |

Some good knowledge on here as always. I've been a diligent drinker of beer for over 3 decades but never developed the right level of knowledge to challenge a barkeep over their pipes or spray it back in their face and declare it undrinkable. Never too late of course but I'm at the point now where if the pint is decent strength, drinkable, not some overfizzed guff, and the atmosphere in the pub is nice, I'm happy. Am drinking a pint of Abbot in that sort of situation at the minute and might well have another. 50 something blokes seeking quiet refuge in pubs seems to be a big part of the afternoon customer base these days. |

Yeah why are you so adamant, or even Adam Ant about him Wilkins? You're normally quite measured but are jumping in every time saying he's shit when he clearly isn't. He's not Bardsley but he's been very good for us in a very unconventional but effective manner, in our ridiculously imbalanced squad, for the last 2 seasons. |

Very hard to find that - I'd tried before and given up. Bale probably had a firm of Madrid lawyers work on taking it down. |

Yeah I don't think needing it on a plate is such a bad thing. We just need to acknowledge that and get it to him. We've had plenty of forwards who can't kick it in the right direction, even if it is on a plate. Not that Celar has proven anything at all yet, of course, plate-related or otherwise. |

Think I agreed with all the ratings , including Celar's 'E'. Am desperately hoping last season will be looked at as a lost one for him and he'll be a lot better in 25/26. But part of that is going to depend on having players around him who can put it on a plate. That could mean Madsen continuing his improvement (just to crank up the improbability of it all) Dembele and Chair staying fit, maybe Kolli maintaining form and fitness behind him, who knows? |

Good listen. Agree on Varanne, in fact the best thing about him this season I felt was how much he progressed compared to those first couple of games where he was well off it. Seriously promising. On the mighty midgets, I think Dembele does have it in him to be stronger and more aggressive - his little legs are like tree trunks. And for Smyth, I'm sure there must be a stat for how many corners he won this season, which felt like a lot compared to other players and was at times his one and only attacking outlet (though the final ball has got a bit better). There's also his patent pending isosceles triangle dive which has been fairly successful if at times a hard watch. |
