Good news - he has a lot of emerging potentiality.
Also good rumour-news about Smyth and Frey, though with Frey we'll also need to hear what's happening with the physio situation - I'm a fan of Michi but there should be a better effort at helping him stay fit.
Please don't now make yourself out to be the victim by focusing on dyslexia and the use of AI. My wife uses it for her dyslexia and it helps her a lot.
The issues with your approach to this are numerous and include:
1) The content that you stand behind, e.g. claiming 'stability' at this moment!
2) Your lack of responsiveness on perfectly fair questions, only to then say you were speculating - pathetic at best, suspicious bullshit at worst. Now it's the use of AI which could have been gently raised pages and pages ago if you are a real person - which we unfortunately still have to wonder!
3) Your attitude - you were the first person to discuss people throwing punches however metaphorical, calling the editor of this website a cyber bully ffs, suggesting anyone who disagrees with your farcical content is a sheep, talk of 'standing your ground' (do me a fcuking favour) etc etc.
A lot of examples for that last one - so if you're trolling you're a right tit regardless, if you're trying to influence opinion for anyone behind the scenes I've seldom seen a worse effort, if you're legit I'm equally disinterested.
Probably worth having a look at how you're going about all of this. (Another) new account might be an idea.
Without reading the whole thread, and yes he hasn't set the world alight previously with us, I think it would be very QPR of us to NOT bring Kelman back.
21 league goals in 46 league games. Shirley we have to get him back for preseason and see what we can get out of him. His confidence has to be high and if the quality still isn't there we can offload him back to League 1 at Xmas.
Can you answer the very first question you were asked? What your source is for the following.
'The Ben Williams situation clearly had an impact – he was offered a big opportunity abroad and took it, which is understandable. But the void it left in the football department was felt. That said, I’ve heard that’s now been addressed for next season, which is good news.'
I can't tell if it's a bot (what is a bot again?), or AI, or a human using AI, or a human who really should be using AI, or the effect of the morning coffee (presumably with Jane Asher passing a slice of the most scrumptious lemon drizzle cake), or what.
Either way I fully agree on the reading the room point made earlier - just let us process things at the end of another exhausting rollercoaster and piss off with whatever this is.
Very true. A successful side needs a little group of these prospects that pushes the team up the table, and let's the others look better by not being replied upon.
But if your recruitment is lacking (based on limitations of money/strategy/egos/fcuk knows) it also impinges on your culture, standards etc.
To be honest, not paying much attention to it at other clubs, I don't know. Am sure you're right, it's just felt quite front and centre at times in terms of how the club markets itself.
Might be interesting to look at the extent to which clubs push that message and their relative league positions over time. You'd have to control for an insane amount of other factors of course.
Have been thinking about that same thing for a few months now (sometimes the penny drops slowly for me.)
When that concept was first raised (a few years ago maybe?) it sounded a bit like pragmatism, possibly realism. Maybe it would allow us to get a few players who we might not otherwise have got.
I've now come to think it's one of the elements that has caused successive squads to phone it in, drop out injured for long periods, look generally disinterested and any number of other issues we've seen. You can also say it's the way players are these days, no argument there, but that policy seems relevant.
People coming on and moaning about posts being pro-Marti, or even pro-Nourry are missing the point I think.
Nourry seems to have at best tied himself into pursuing the breach of contract approach, so we can presumably avoid paying up all or part of his contract. That's the best he can hope for now. But if the word is out that they don't get on he should still have had it about him to make a semi convincing argument that he's determined to put it all behind them and look forward to next season.
Even if it was complete balls it would have been a position. Instead he's just spat his dummy and made a childish power play that could cost us whatever small but useful compensation we might have managed to get.
