IMO anyone who wants to kill someone with a firearm at the distance being quoted won't be aiming for the neck ,head probably/possibly , chest definitely.
Its claimed the shooter was also above Mr Kirk so not an easy target, so my opinion is that Mr Kirk was unlucky as was someone I knew , a friend who was shot in the neck in Belfast ,bled out on the street with no chance of saving his life ,the shooter in this incident claims he wasn't aiming for my mate but was scared when he saw the patrol arrive to investigate an ongoing Post Office robbery and just fired his weapon. A couple of millimetres to right and he'd have missed. |

If you are referring to our kids ,then go back its not difficult
If you're referring to our kids then ourselves , you don't need to find validation from another country to know that mass sexual exploitation of children is wrong , to know that the Police should abide by their oath ,that the law should protect the weak and vulnerable. We should and did know all those things but they've been lost because of many ideologies driven by who knows and for what which has allowed the UKs standards in all aspects of life to have fallen off a cliff.
We can all learn from each other including other nations of course but we don't live in an ideal world I'm afraid IMO |

We have a lower population , our history or country doesn't have the same constitution created when settlers were being attacked by the indigenous population or where vast swathes of the country had no definable law or personnel to uphold a law if there was one. I'm not defending the Americans but its their country and to think we have something to teach another nation is to me ironic when the UKs trying to forget its imperial past.
No child should die, of anything, but they do, of many causes and the fact that out of all deaths by shooting its 1% of that number which are children all of which are tragic of that there's no doubt but my point still stands that we can't seemingly protect our own when it should be a given that we can and should. |
