Cheers Clive, a great summary of a great day. I am biased having lived here since the late 80s but it is a great place, especially as the home team are always so obliging. Plus I can get a bus home

Bristol Beer Factory on North St is closest away friendly pub
On the waterside you have The Cottage, Pumphouse, Grain Barge all good beerd and away friendly
All these around 20-25 min walk

Loads further into city

Yeah, roads gets really gnarled up for home games

Lots of smaller car parks and on road (paid) parking a smallish walk away. Depends what way you’re coming in…pub called The Cottage (Butcombe pub, good ales and some lagers) on the water has a car park at the back but no idea what the score is match days

Also some parking near Nova Scotia (coider) pub

Arrive early is the motto I think…good luck

PS lots of (free?) off street parking in roads coming off North Street…Bristol Beer Factory taproom down the end nearest ground as well. Think Konk lives in the area so will be aboe to advise better than me

Great shout FDC, whilst not overseas I don’t get to many games these days…the essence of that experience was really captured well.

Loved the chat with the Wrexham fan, really interesting perspective on what impact the new owners have had on the wider community…lovely to hear

Nice work guys

PS and as if to jinx it, I’m coming up for my first game of the season tomorrow with my Stoke mate and his kids
