Auschwitz is an incredibly moving place and they've done such a good job with the tone of both sites; the guide we had was superb. I used to question why anyone would want to go to such a place, but I'm so glad I did and would recommend it to anyone. Plus, Krakow is a great city. |

Perhaps, but same was also said when we played Wolves and Spurs recently, plus numerous other occasions throughout the season. We don't even look close to beating anyone. |

I don't believe our players have any proper fight in them. People can blame the manager(s) all they want or the decisions of the board, but the players are the ones out on the field and are the only ones that can really make a difference. The lack of pride, desire and professionalism that lily-livered bunch have demonstrated this season has been disgraceful and should be our upmost priority to sort for next season. We need some real men integrated into our squad; leaders/characters who can radiate hunger and drive into the rest. I can take losing, but it's how you lose. Our players gave up months ago which is completely inexcusable, unprofessional and shows how weak and shameless they are. |

If you were at Tottenham yesterday, you'd have seen for yourself there was not one inch of stoicism from our younger fans. Tops off, swinging shirts around, chucking beer and singing "championship again ole ole" on repeat in the concourse really looked like they gave a fvck. |
 | Forum Reply | Tall Paul was good last night at 12:28 3 Apr 2025
He is a focal point and an outlet, but that's pretty much all down to his size, not his ability. His touch is minging, he can't shoot, his decision making is poor, he runs out of gas quicker than anyone and despite his size, he's pretty crap in the air. A player like that shouldn't be anywhere near a Premier League team and the fact he is sums up perfectly how low we've sunk . |

No chance. He wouldn't get anywhere near 15 Premier League goals in a good side, let alone ours. |

Ditto, although I've really enjoyed having the last couple of weekends off and haven't missed watching us at all. |

He's clearly a great talent, but has hardly set the world alight for us. A few pieces of brilliance here and there, but a lot of completely anonymous appearances too. I don't blame the lad for this btw; he's young, inexperienced and has been chucked in the deep end much sooner than he should have in a proper crap side. Can't be good for him in any way, other than it's put him in the shop window I guess. Anyone buying him is paying for his potential and it's hard to value that. He will be worth serious money in a year or two imo, so I understand the club not wanting him to go for his realistic value, which is probably around £20-£30m as things stand. |

What sort of owners do people expect to get? That's Kat Liebherr, Gao and now Sports Republic we've wanted gone. We don't like the immoral Saudi/Qatar/UAE state owned clubs like City and Newcastle. The Chinese had loads of money a few years ago and were acquiring clubs, but they fell on their arses and turned out to have no investment potential. The increasing number of Yank owners are becoming more of a problem with their thirst for an NFL franchise model, so we wouldn't want to go down that route. Who does that leave? The lifetime Southampton fan and local businessman turned multi-billionaire, who loves the club and is prepared to pump hundreds of millions of his own money into it. Dream on. |
 | Forum Reply | Where are people sitting next season? at 15:11 17 Mar 2025
I think a fair few will move. For me, it's not about being near the away fans; I just can't be surrounded by the complete gimps that occupy the Wall any longer. I've only got myself to blame for getting conned into moving there in the first place. I knew it'd be shit, but got sucked in by the early bird pricing, being able to stand and the threat of sizeable price increases in all other parts of the ground. I did however underestimate just how much I'd hate it in there, but that's probably been magnified by what's been served up on the pitch tbf. In the same vein, I don't want to have to sit in silence, get told off if I stand at certain points of the game or be worried about who's around me if I swear. You wouldn't think that'd be too much to ask for, but our fanbase largely seems to be made up with those 2 extremes. |

If I had to choose, I'd lean towards Liverpool too, only for the fact they're guaranteed to win the League anyway, so the w@nkfest won't be quite so unbearable as if Newcastle did. In normal circumstances I'm happy for Man City to clean sweep everything. |

That Wolves 2003 game was peak Burberry/Aquascutum baseball cap and scarf era. Never seen so many in one place with their lot. |
