If we can put in a solid performance at Wrexham, and come away with 3 points, I will begin to think that maybe, just maybe, the Queen's Park Rangers we all want to see, has finally arrived.

A Kelmanation of errors QPR vs Charlton Athletic Match Thread
at 15:47 31 Aug 2025

Credit where it's due, Stephan promised that our game would improve against Charlton, after the debacle at Coventry, and it did.
Could hardly have got worse, though, could it?
As for my man Koki Saito, he's pure quality. Worth every penny of what we paid for him.
And Richard Kone, what can I say, except that he's another Les Ferdinand in the making? Superb goal, and Burrell's part in it cannot be understated.
All, in all, a good day at the office, but we mustn't rest on our laurels, still room for improvement, if we are to earn the respect of our rivals for more than 10 seconds.

Treating Cup Competitions Seriously
at 19:44 28 Aug 2025

Modern football, that figures.
Still, there's always the romance of a good cup run, quarter-final, semi-final, Final itself, and if won, no feeling like it!
But no, that's not for us, just a miserable slog in the league, with a promotion maybe every decade, then back to the old routine.
I was too young in '67. I was there in '82, and '86, and I wouldn't have missed those cup runs for the world.

Treating Cup Competitions Seriously
at 17:06 28 Aug 2025

The cups are our only realistic chance of getting European football back at Loftus Rd, too.
There's so much a club like QPR could get out of taking cup football very seriously. A good run, generating much needed income. The possibility of going all the way to a final at Wembley in front of 80,000+ fans. And if the dream came true, as it did in 1967, European football back at Loftus Rd for the first time since the early 80s.

Rest of the Championship thread 25/26
at 16:57 28 Aug 2025

He's speaking English, but I don't understand a word of what he's saying.
You never, never, make 11 unenforced changes to your starting 11, and expect to win the game.
He would never do that for a Championship game, because it's stupid.
I think modern coaches are absolute shite. Total and utter shite.

Glad we got this one done.
With Koki, you know he'll have you off your seat a few times during the course of a game.
Good bit of business done this transfer window.
With these additions, and what we have brought in already, Stephan had better start upping his game, starting on Saturday.

What do you expect from the Charlton game?

I'm not expecting much, to be honest.
I have no faith whatsoever in this manager.

Glad Isaac is back with us permanently.
I just hope to God Stephan plays him where he should be played, and that the injury curse at Rangers doesn't strike him down in the first 10 minutes against Charlton on Saturday.
I mean, Isaac will start against Charlton, surely to God?

Ben Williams - Disasterclass?

It can't be coincidence, can it?
Williams has brought nothing to the QPR table, as far as I can see.

Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report
at 07:01 25 Aug 2025

Pride. A hunger for honours. A winning mentality.
3 very important things this club has lacked for decades now.
Plymouth away in the cup, that squad we took there, that inevitable result we got there, somebody who justified it then, please justify it now 2, 3, weeks down the line.
I will eat this device I'm writing on, if somebody can.

If true, I'm glad he's ours.
One of the few players we had last year, that I was truly glad was on the team sheet.
Can't believe some are calling for big lumps with no skill.
As if the squad isn't shit enough already.

In the year 2025..
at 17:31 24 Aug 2025

I hate everything about modern football.
It's just so, so, shite.
If football had been like this in 1971, I would never have bothered with it. I'd have gone for something more enjoyable.

We had a perfectly good manager in Marti…
at 21:44 23 Aug 2025

Anybody would think that Marti had us as high as 6th, and in contention for the play-offs, during his tenure.
Yes, Marti was a tad better than Julien, but he wasn't that great, that we didn't need to improve on him, if we could.

Are we near “an on the pitch moment”
at 20:49 23 Aug 2025

We have fans now, who don't mind the ritual humiliations we endure every year in both cup competitions.
They have swallowed the club line, hook and sinker.
Pride is in such short supply at this club, both with management and support.
We have a fair bit more humiliation to go, yet.
