I am probably in the minority here but trying to score directly from corners and either putting it straight out or into the keepers gloves under the bar I see as very selfish generally.
The ball should be delivered with power and inswing over the penalty spot where this is zero chance their keeper can come and claim it . Look at Nardi getting lost trying for that exact ball ,hopeless losing out ,protesting to the ref as a decent striker heads it over the empty net .
However Dembele must have been advised or their keeper was scouted struggling to palm those 2 away.
At least he has the right pace and curve on the ball and can beat the first defender something Paak, Anderson or even Chair never do |

I felt Yang would score at the halftime kick about with no keepers he was that innefective and lightweight plus nearly cost us a goal in the first half.
He did have a pretty legimate appeal for handball to be fair it was a pretty clear penalty to us simply ignored.
They has at least 1 penalty shout that VAR would have given a serious look at if available.
Bottom line Cardiff wasted 3 glorious chances when they realised we were not going to score so lets take that draw and forget this miserable performance |

What I learned from watching that first half of pretty poor play from us.
1Yang is simply not any good at this level,too careless with the ball,too weak in tackles then gives away stupid free kicks when he gets beaten.
2 Paal best contribution to QPR is his ability to get team mates booked or sent off with his sloppy /careless passes and forget his crossing.
3.Paul Smyth has a great engine but he constantly takes one extra touch towards the end line instead of whipping a low hard cross we might acrually connect with.
4. Commentators get excited when we get a corner start saying "its all about the delivery come on Lucas, Kenneth, or who ever jogs across " yet its always sh*t .
5.We simply have to sign Edwards next June if we had 3 or 4 with his strength, vision, skill and desire (a loan player remember )to play for QPR we could have something special. |

I was sleepily watching You Tube a few weeks back and a video caught my eys called "what ever happened to Kader Dembele " and it was a facinating look back at his career so far .First I want to make sure its our guy but he played for Celtic,Brest heee ,Blackpool and finally QPR. The whole time he had to rise above being too short and getting bad injuries and top of the list a poor attitude .
I see a player with lots of ability but he is just not strong enough for the brutality of the Championship and gets zero protection from refs as he hits the dirt on every tackle .
I still think he can be an excellent player but find his position taking on defenders not jumping for headers ffs |

Not sure if you are joking or not but he is pretty tall and might be able to attack a cross or 2 or try and control/head forward our multiple hopeful long wild kicks up field .
Having Dembele or Smyth attempting to reach crosses is comical when they do their best work along the ground .
We simply have to score first then the home crowd will be the difference IMO |

If we crash and burn from here forward and go down it will be one of the worst ever QPR implosions of all time IMO.
Falling down the table after the Coventry loss has been pretty sickening but there is still an overriding feeling we will pull out a few wins and other results will go our way to keep us up.
However last Saturday has been a real eye opener and if we do not find at least a draw Saturday the wheels could really fall off .
I strongly believe the home crowd, the embarrasing display at Stoke and Marti raging at the threadbare squad will give them the push to win here |

Superb writing again not sure I should be laughing or crying but we are serving up some pretty horrible slop at the moment and it might actually continue .
"this was Morgan Fox's best game for Stoke and he played there for 3 years " is beautiful but really depressing .
Not sure how the fans pay hard earned money to follow this team its pretty demoralizing right now we online fans salute you |

The injuries have killed us this season but another major issue is our inability to be ready for the kick off and its been happening most of the season.We have given up the first goal and quickly followed by a second so many times its actually embarrasing and that is simply down to the management team IMO.
Injuries to starters mean a chance for a squad player to stake his claim and those players should run through that closed door to make their mark, instead we dick around ,fall behind ,stage a late comeback and still lose
This season has broken our spirit I feel with so much promise at the start its now a matter of holding on to our place in the division like every other year lately . |

The fans could forsee this in July it never had a chance of working with the physical demands of this league. A team needs 5 or 6 strikers/forwards to get through a season succesfully and we had 2 proven ones ( not sure about that ) and 2 rookies who are too green to deliver in the heat of battle on a regular basis .
We blew the January window IMO knowing we were starting to get hot and a proven goalscorer would have made a massive difference .
Frey was shooting well in the training pictures the fact he felt something is just more of the same sh*t we were not ready in this area since june |

Strongly agree with Brian Mac here the whole season has been a pretty big disappointement IMO.
The way we finished last Spring and Marti having a whole off season to imprint his style on the players should have led to a way better season I think.
I felt strongly our 6 or 7 game losing streaks were over when Marti arrived and steadied the ship but we were 5 points adrift at the end of November
Once we went on that great run I fully expected us to push on but once again another soul crushing losing streak and now we are in no mans land .
Even if we finish strong the excitement is gone for me and who knows what the summer holds it certainly wont be anything as posotive as last year and if Marti walks then anything goes |

Thank you for posting that lovely article another great example of pride in pulling on the national jersey and the family behind every player.
Jimmy could be the odd man out for ROI but at least he is being noticed and got on the field and hopefully stays healthy and features in the June friendlies to try and stamp his spot .
Most of the stories are behind paywalls on the Independent but that headline caught my eye .Miss Scotland stripped of her title after being convicted of assault and racially abusing a security guard WTF is going on in her head . |

I suspect Harry will throw in the towel after the next World Cup so that would be a massive loss for England.
Eze is going to have to be patient because while he is an excellent playmaker Palmer while healthy will always be picked ahead of him.
Foden went from POY last year to very average this year with City and England and Grealish has wasted 2 years of his career at City IMO
It all comes down to the Group draws at the WC and who can handle the opressive summer heat and humidity of Mexico and USA not sure how hot Canada gets |

A lot more cash if he got on the end of one of those corners and buired one but it was lovely to see him run on and get a few touches.He seemed a bit frustrated they were not finding him on the right side .The refs was a bit suspect over the 2 legs letting Bulgaria away with a lot of savage challenges while booking Ireland for simple stuff.
I am a lot happier with the chance ROI will be at the World Cup if we can keep those players healthy, bring back the few injured ones and hope Ronaldo is past his sell by date .
Finn Azaz was hard to handle for QPR a few weeks back I can see why he has a lot of skill that lad |

I think they were pulling our leg about Paal unless its the most disappointing player award he would win that easily IMO.
Nardi is a brilliant shot stopper but has major issues controlling the box which has really hurt us hopefully that can be coached out of/ into him .
Jimmy Dunne is very popular and almost caused LFW to implode when he was being chased by Wilder .
He is QPR through and through right now clear player of the season.
Of course someone could catch fire and score 10 goals yet |

No quiet dodgy ,I talked to my Sheffield Wednesday friend on Friday and he said both sets of fans despise each other so there is bad blood there .Not to the Rangers-Celtic bitterness bloodshed but not friendly by any stretch of the imagination.
He also confirmed what Clive mentioned last week that SW excellent manager is basically packing for Southampton according to his season ticket holder friends |

Nobody can question his heart but he came back way too soon from that injury to help our cause and thats to be admired.Plus he is our top scorer in the last 2 games dont forget that little nuggett .
I would bring him back for experience alone plus he is like a manager on the field IMO |

Its just his usual b.s from all our free kicks,corners and throw ins we just are pretty useless this season.Anderson floats one across their box 30 seconds later we are desperatly defending our penalty area its business as usual sadly.
Dembelle tries to score from our corner then when the ball comes straight back to him he dicks around trying fancy stepovers instead of whipping it back in to the danger zone and gets stripped.
Saito gets a lot of punishment but that lunge at the calf was very dangerous I think it will not be overturned.
Lets take the point Leeds had a few dangerous chances late it would have been pretty cruel to get nothing |
