People call it as they see it. You are in the minority of one. How you can watch that and think it was okay is beyond me and everyone else here…but you are entitled to your opinion as bizarre as it is. Just don’t start calling people keyboard warriors when they see it differently.
I’ll reserve my comments on Oxford until after the game but based on recent form how do you think it’s going to go?
So you start this post with “I’ll be in the minority of one”….knowing full well that you are likely to be the only person in the entire crowd that thought that this absolutely awful pile of sh*te game of football was actually okay….and then when everyone quite rightly points out that you must be either deluded or Stevie Wonder….you call them keyboard warriors!?!?!?
I’ve read some toilet on here over the years but take a bow son!
You did watch the game yes?? He makes the same mistakes week in week out regardless of whether we've won or not. It's just that the teams we've beaten didn't punish those mistakes. He was awful in the first half and was responsible for the nail in the coffin 4th, both for letting his man run in behind, and then having his arm waving up in the air to handle the cross. He clearly thinks he's better on the ball than he actually is. What he actually is, is a liability. Had he been hooked (with a couple of others) at half time like he should have been it could well have been a different outcome. Saito is also a waste of time and playing one in front of the other is asking for trouble.
My dad passed away in Feb 2024, 97 years old, lifelong Rangers fan, and who spawned 4 generations of QPR fans (including himself), and the club were brilliant in getting his pic on the video yesterday, making an announcement before the game and at half time, and putting a piece in the programme.
This is why I love this club. A proper club, who care about the people who care about them.
Anything to get Madsen out of the starting 11. He literally offers nothing. Doesn't tackle, doesn't win headers, doesn't track back...generally hides. Yes, given 20 yards of room he can spray a pass 30 yards out to the wings...but so can I at 58 years old!
Aircraft flying to the East (track 0°-179°) always fly at an odd altitude (e.g. 37,000 feet). Aircraft flying to the West (track 180°-359°) fly an even level.
Since when has politics been more important than football? If you spend your Saturday afternoons watching re runs of Prime Ministers question time than down the Bush I seriously question your sanity! :-)
Two tickets going for tomorrow night at the Electric Ballroom in Camden. Change of plans so can no longer attend. Face value £25 each.....I'll do them £30 the pair.
He would score goals. He would create. Maybe not week in week out but then occasionally would be better than what we currently have.
I miss the maverick in todays game. He was the only true genius we've had in decades and judging by that video he's still go it.
I totally get what you mean though. Let the good memories stay as memories rather than him blot his copy book.
I'd still be tempted by a cheeky loan spell.
All pointless conversation though because as someone else said, why swap the no pressure big bucks in the sunshine for pocket change and a relegation battle in wet West London.
Why not? He's more skilful than Chair. Class is permanent, and when you have that skill and speed of thought to buy you a yard or two (which he does) it doesn't matter if you've lost a bit of pace or engine.
Or you know...we could carry on with Dozzell the creative playmaker.
ADVICE......Do yourself a favour. Go see "Limehouse Lizzy" on tour back end of this year and early next. They are without doubt the best tribute band (not just Thin Lizzy Tribute) I have ever seen. Weirdly, they've been active longer than the actual band.
