Preston make their point as QPR run out of puff – Report

I would have taken the point before the game but Preston were so poor, the result is a disappointment. This could be a difficult season for our current squad, bearing in mind they won’t be playing many teams inferior to Preston. We still need a genuine striker, capable of scoring regularly. And we need to reduce the number of times goal kicks go to a double marked player, yards away from goal. More quick longer clearances are required, to catch the opposition out of position - rather like the soft goal we conceded on Saturday.
