Six months is the legal norm for the maximum time spent on gardening leave. The person on leave requires permission to go on holiday and must make himself available to the club. Hence the term 'gardening leave' because they can't go anywhere than, basically, home. |

Had a bit of trouble with supporters when he threw his shirt to the ground after being subbed. Their supporters think the same as ours who don't have their rose tinted glasses on. 'Good going forward but not a very good defender'. |
