I hope Victor doesn't have a worse game this season!! Slight improvement in the 2nd half but I think Cork needs to be given a chance which might give VY a kick where he needs it.. I like Dani, you can tell he has that bit of extra class and with more games he will do the business. My first visit to SMS this season and to me we clearly lacked the vision that is there. You can clearly see that we have good players. I'm thinking that Liverpool might just play the game that could see us do well. On a final note.....West Ham.....WoW....they were not very good!! |

isn't this a great debate..... the fact that we are able to discuss whether it SRL or JROD or possibly someone else to make way for PDO !!! the future looks bright!!! there is always the worry that Saturdays game could be a skin, however I really do believe now that we are at another level now and can only see a 3/4 NIL result....the spine of QUALITY is there for all to see now and don't it look great. btw how amazing did LS look on Saturday, Clyne on his way back however Chambers looks quality....JWP the same....we really are in a new era today!! I even opened the METRO newspaper and saw a large size pic of MOPO and OSSIE!!! come on the saints!!!!!!!!! |

Agree with 'iswhite10'... come on Nick!! you have sort of turned this 'groundbreaking for Saints' news into total negativity'. An Italian International with an English International as a front line aint that bad in my eyes... Mo Po will work out how to best utilise them both. I now look at our team with real positivity.. sound keeper....quality young backs.. more assured centres... midfield...well...enough said!! wings covered...up front, covered!! we now have young talent, power, creativity, flair.. this really is a great night to be a Saint...and we have just been mentioned on MOTD2 re the transfer!! |

So...we win on Sunday, results go 100% our way and we get 10th Nice...subdued celebrations I guess with all that is apparently going on! come Monday to Whenever.....uncertainty, speculation, rumours...nothing concrete or clarified until whenever...no signings to take us to this next level....pre-season begins quite soon!! then bombshell....which I truly hope is that Nicola and Mo-Po are here to stay...... what we really need is stability by the end of May...new signings in by the end of June and a productive pre-season!! I do truly wish for this!!!! |

Fair comment LesVivian. My view is that in all walks of life changes happen. Ive been born and bred Saints all my life and as soon as I was old enough I was standing on the Milton and roughing it in the Archers. I have seen amazing times and heartbreaking times watching our boys. That I know is that there was never any other team for me. Todays game is so much different to that when I was a nipper both on and off the pitch. Football is a cycle, we once ruled the South...we then didnt...we now do once more... How amazing would it be in my lifetime for us to exceed our expectations. one thing i know is that it would certainly be a rollercoaster! I am not in any way saying that I agree with the actions of Cortese but I am on his private jet until I decide overwise. Tomorrow night lets let our feelings known but as soon as the players and new boss are out we are 110% behind them and get 3 points in the bag. I do however have a feeling that negativity could prevail on this ocassion which would be utter madness. |

ok, I am rare to comment on this site but having been a SAINT since birth...(I am reaching 40! thihs year)!! I feel the need..... Like 99.999999% of us I was obviously shocked by what happended on Friday.....but....this is now a new era for us all and I think we should hold stock and see where it takes us. We have the support, we have the stadium.. we have the players..(perhaps a few additions still needed)... we have a chairman that clearly has a vision whom also has put money on the table....(and still is)... I want the new era... I want us to be signing top players....I want us challenging and not fighting.....Bring Saints to where they should be...Semi-finals...Finals....top of the table challenges.... this is not out of the realm of possibility....protest is fine and views must be known..however a new man needs support also... COYR....... |

Also liking the Wet Spam lot piling the pressure on us...good mind games...however..deep down I think they really know that they will be preparing for the play-offs and getting want they want with Big Sam getting the boot cause they hadnt made it to Wembley. They will be back in spirits again come August when they are Favourites for the Championship second time round tho..... |

New to this site and it's the last game of the season...i'm just gearing up for the Premiership 2012/13 season when i will be in full voice. Lambert will get to his tally of 30 on Saturday...therefore Hat-trick HERO....looking at the odds out there....Coventry to be winning at HT...SAINTS to win FT...20-1......worth a flutter however I would prefer us 3 -0 up at H/T as coasting it.....Disappointed with you bstokesaint for not knowing how many Lambert was on :-D |
