I wasn't writing him off, just think makes for a better centre back. Personally dont think he is a great holding midfielder player.
As to who would play centre mid personally varane, Morgan and liked chair in there. Chair plays on the half turn and gets us forward. Also think that will be where benni naturally ends up and he has a presence about him |

For me think he suits CB better, always looked assured and more physical at centre back. I think the game bypasses him in midfield, I know ore season but Brentford just played through him. With cook and JCS always injured, morrison and field at centre back. |

Went 3 years ago, was in America two years ago then last year despite a valid Etsa was pulled at Heathrow and not allowed to travel. Had to get a 10 year visa and a pain in the back side as there for work. |

I actually think Celar and Madsen aside our recruitment this summer was good. Varane looks better in each game, Nardi, saito and dembele all looked good as does Morrison.
Field is massively overrated and for me has been poor, cook bar one or two games has looked sluggish.
Dunne is what he is one good game one average. Our issue right now is up top and the way we set up.

Ideal scenario - They sell Eze for 60m, netting us a nice sell on fee, they then use some of that money and pay 6-8m for Chair as his replacement. |

Just to add to last post, this has been his lowest goal returning season but still our top scorer. He isnt a goal scoring forward, more a support act.
Marti picks up away from home as he is a better option than Frey right now and Armstrong great facing goal running on to balls but teams play around him too easily and like Anthony Joshua after 2 or 3 bursts he is gasping for air or goes down with an injury.
Look at the away points we have picked up, fact is Marti trusts him to do a job. Is he good enough, not as our main striker, do I trust Marti's judgement more than most on this board...yes i do. |
