Couldn't give a shit about Liverpool, but it does annoy me the way their fans are venerated. Listening to the radio yesterday, the presenter kept saying how 'knowledgeable' liverpool fans are. They just seem the same ad the rest of us to me, with an added dollop of entitlement and narcissism. |

Ha ha, that would be bloody typical, although given Kelmans career to date and contract situation, understandable. |

'Cardinal skill' - we were hoping the Vatican were going to make a bid. I actually thought they had when I heard about the nationality of the new incumbent. Was worried we'd do a direct swap. Still haunted by the Sinclair transfer. |

He must have been signed on a contract with add-on's. So, 3 assists and a goal late on added another million. Apparently the next add-on is triggered by him sprinting, which is why he was told not to until next year. Similar thing with Celar, the next outgoing on him is triggered by his third goal, so we told him to play dead for the rest of the season. |
 | Forum Reply | Head of Set Pieces role at 07:10 7 May 2025
What if the Head of Seat Pieces, in the defensive situation, wants to leave two up top to launch the quick counter, while the manager wants all back to block runners as the keeper is glued to the line? How far past the set piece does his remit go? I can see why a manager would oppose this. What does the head of set pieces actually know that the manager doesn't? I seem to remember us having a head of set pieces before, to no discernible value. |

I want Cifuentes to stay. Full stop. But he's been leaking like a sieve through a poster on this site, if that poster is to be believed. I can't see any way back, alas. |

We all know that, I thought 'shed no tears' was unnecessary. It came across as a bit vindictive. His agent (presumably) writing and pushing that piece is quite strange though, I have no idea who it's aimed at. Edit - maybe the person the agent is really pushing is himself, showing potential clients his ability to raise the profile of his clients. [Post edited 4 May 15:06]

It's ridiculous. If I was Nourry, I'd be paying long standing, totally amoral members of this site good money to get my message across. Don't know how many times we've been through this in my years and years on this board. And, incidently, I find Donald Trump quite amusing. |

I agree he'll probably be released, but that's a nasty way to talk about a young bloke presumably facing huge disappointment. |

After McCarthy assigned such profundity to your musings, I can only say the conclusion is somewhat disappointing. |

It'd be great if we can get them to speak in unison, like those strange australian twins who occasionally come up on social media feeds. |
