I'm in the minority in that I think Nardi's inability to come off the line outweighs his shot-stopping skills, good as they are. I am a bit surprised they've let the lad go on loan to Barnsley, given he got a years experience last season, and thrived. I'd have thought he would have been our back up, but maybe it means that Nardi is quite prepared to stay and fight for the number 1 shirt. |

Well, up to then we'd been doing the same as everyone else, but with less money, with predictable results. For me, we'll really see what Celar and Madsen are about this season, for better or worse. But this system also brought us Varane, who I really like, and some promising young players. It's not all short termism, which may well be hard to stomach at times but may also reap dividends. Or not.😆 |

People catastrophizing as soon as we get a decent spell of weather. Horse flies.....some men ate hung like a horse, I reckon I must smell like one, I've been plagued by them at work recently. |

Yeah, I think Nourry's strongest point is his ability to think outside the box a bit. We're competing against a lot of bigger fish. |

While I'm on one, Celar not looking really on it as he plays himself back to fitness in a behind closed doors friendly after a serious injury is really not that surprising . |

OK, the manager had a bit of a play, and we got dicked. But this was a 'behind closed doors' friendly for a reason. The manager needs room to experiment. It's hard for them - in the past we'd probably have known f.a about this, but the commodification of everybloodything, and I totally get why they stream games like this to bring in some money, means we have a social media tizzy, and needless pressure put on the players and management. Relax. |

I think Kolli and Varane are probably cooking up trouble somewhere......possibly IN FRENCH. They might even be a sleeper cell who have been secretly activated by one of the Mr Macrons..... |

Not really any controversy in him not being first choice anymore, it's never a given. For me, he never controlled his box enough. Wether Walsh is up to it, we'll find out, but I can't say I'm surprised. |

They've also signed a 30 yr old Japanese striker for £10m, apparently. He'll of a lot for a championship side to spend on someone with no resale value. Still, level playing field, and all that. |

One who was before my time, but who I know QPR owe so much to. RIP |

I can't make up my mind on the Donnarumma tackle. I think it's accidental, that the technique is dangerous, but that's easy to say with hindsight. Really unfortunate is my conclusion. |

It shouldn't be an exit, but a vomitory. We've got one in the IoM now. I've nothing against 'spoons, but a decent locally brewed pint in my local, award winning pub is £3.40, so I won't be changing my habits. |

I thought Haydon started off really well at QPR, but that his performances dropped - by the end of the season he wasn't in the first 11, if I recall rightly. |
