Dixon-Bonner. Probably made an awful lot of money for doing not much. I wonder if he was given too much too soon? If it's all been a bit easy for him, financially I also wonder if, one day, he'll look back and wish he'd done a bit more, given that he obviously has talent. We've got two wasters here. |

Oh, that's unfair. Left us, and seemingly struggled to get a new club. No-one has thrown about millions for him. I wish him well. |

I think people may be reading too much into what I read as a throwaway comment about how difficult it can be for someone who has a very well paid job lined up to move to the country, in a time of mass immigration. Must we always imagine the worst of each other? [Post edited 5 Aug 7:03]

Did you 'experience ' lux interior or poison ivy? I think we should be told. |

We've got actual strikers, mate. We're just not allowed to see them. They may be nocturnal, or something. |

They brought great support to the IoM. |

I was listening to Perry Groves speaking about preseason friendlies this week. He was saying they are just about getting fit and avoiding injury, and that you can't read too much into them. He cited Norwich having an awful preseason and then finishing 3rd on the top-flight. Leicester being held by Mansfield and then winning the premiership. |

Yeah, he literally wrote the book 'football and the law'. Which I have not, and will not, read. But definitely a good man to have on board. His bio on x etc has him as a QPR fan. Talked to him through this board, always found him pleasant enough. |

Alas, our finances will dictate a lot at this stage, expect to see our squad buttressed with loans. I'm very optimistic about our general direction, but think this will be a difficult season, the speed we can build at very much governed by what we can spend. [Post edited 31 Jul 7:17]

Pretty much where I am. It's not a pessimistic 17th for me, we're building, a lot of youngsters, I think we'll be comfortable enough and 26/27 we kick on..... Hopefully |

If he was in the championship last season, he probably would not be coming off the season he is. I would suggest his extended stay in league one has done him - and us - a lot of good. He wanted to move on, we need pace. |

Maybe be better with a coffee table, or similar? |

"I am the ghost of QPR past" "Long pass?" Inquired scrooge, observant of its dwarfish stature.... |

Their budget will be lower then ours, I imagine. If they're paying him more then us, it's because they want him more then us. |
