With what we have available I agree with the line-up but with EDB as a second DM with Chair in front.
FBs and Wingers to supply the width we would be too light defensively with 2 forward thinking midfielders.
Just hope Willock is over his strop and will put some effort in, he has so much potential but without the right attitude and work rate he'll be just another footballer who let it go waste.
Kakay should be nowhere near this team (except for the bench) to suggest he should be in midfield is crazy talk. [Post edited 3 Nov 2023 16:31]

Kakay - tries hard, but that is not enough. Marti can't make him a footballer
Armstrong - go learn the offside rule. Stop standing there 2 yards offside oblivious to what is going on around you.
Albert - dust off the golf clubs.
Dozzell - you'll never be as good as your dad.
Dykes - you're not Scottish, so stop going up north and getting injured.
Willock - try, that is all. |

We are obviously short in the middle and can't afford for Field to play CB
If Willock isn't going to try for Marti, then he wont try for anyone.
Armstrong needs a loan lower down the pyramid (wont happen with our small squad) otherwise he will not develop. Maybe another club can teach him the offside rule. |

I would happily take Beale back, at this stage we are at the begging bowl and beggars can't be choosers.
Reality is who would want to come here anyway?
Yes Beale said one thing and did another, he's not the first nor is he the last. If he comes back and then gets poached again, at least that will mean he has done a good job.
I can't watch Ainsworth football anymore, we don't even pretend to try and score a goal, we just want to bore everyone into submission. |

He was slow to react, he then went to side-foot the ball home. A natural striker would have toe poked that in, the defender would never have got there in time.
These are little things that are hard to coach, you either have that instinct or you don't.
What you can coach is the offside rule, for some reason he makes the same mistakes game after game, he is either refusing to learn or not being taught properly (or both) |

Dykes only wants to play for Scotland.
Armstrong lives life offside, when onside he has no natural strikers instinct.
There are no other strikers worthy of mention. |
