If Celar isn't in the matchday squad on Saturday he's likely to be gone. I can only see us spending if Eze is sold. Lot's of moving parts required as per for us to make any moves.

Kone is in his last 12 months of his contract at Wycombe. I'd be very surprised if they get more than £3m for him.

The board must really rate BA if they’re willing to wait this long to sign him. I’d be surprised if we didn’t have a few revealed in front of us Saturday during the halftime DJ set.

Apart from 3 teams in their league, the majority of teams are championship standard.

I never said they weren’t a bad side. I was highlighting their play vs ours. We beat man united 4-2 a few seasons ago, which has little bearing on league position.

Pre season or not this Heerenveen side a much better than us. Their passing along the ground and progressive ball playing is streaks ahead of our game. They play well as a team. We’re reliant on individual play. Frustrating to watch.

The club have to decide whether to sell now at his highest stock to date or offer a new deal and the risk is he doesn’t translate his form, his value dips and we’re back to where we were with him 2 seasons ago

If we are bringing in another striker, it will be either that Celar is off (rumours last season his wife was unsettled) or we’re cashing in on Kelman as the Eze deal is no further down the line of progression. The manager was brought in to manage the 3 game weeks so perhaps he’s suggesting a rotational 3-4 strikers to cover these high demand weeks. Much happier with this than our approach last year playing Lloyd and Kolli who both should’ve gone on loan.

Are we likely to lose any of our better players to Leicester now ???

Who are all on long contracts and for once we hold the cards at the negotiation table. I’d be very surprised if Nourry entertained a discussion with Marti and Leicester.

Looking at the gigantic dark cloud circling around the King Power, fans need to understand that Marti wouldn't have got the gig if Leceister weren't in big trouble. They're going to be selling a lot of players and staring down the barrel of a 12pt deduction, they've looked at managers out of work on the cheap who have a proven success of keeping a thin squad in the division and Marti ticks that box. The board will not want to do a Luton hence the gamble on Marti.

Varane was picked up in the lower segunda division and he’s done well so I agree. I was more referring to Julien’s past experience with Rennes and Strasbourg where he would’ve had an eye on the talent in both Ligue 1&2

We need to give Kelman a decent chance, especially with the quality of delivery available - Poku, Dembele, Vale, Chair. I’m sure Julien will be passing on some notes to Nourry on players to look at in the French leagues.

The player we signed in Jan but didn’t register him in time, so could only announce him in June - Hoos must’ve overseen that one.

I would say Julien would’ve asked them to operate at 75% - no more injuries trying out a few new players in different positions. I would not put Ainsworth and Julien’s coaching record in the same basket.

It’s a preseason friendly with none of the usual 11 starting altogether. Rather the new manager tries out things now than wasting the first 10 games of the season. Some on here are already screaming for the manager to go… we are bizarre fan base at times

Preseason friendly and it’s causing a large majority of supporters on here to have a breakdown

Damage done in the first half, two weeks in a row that we've allowed a horrible team to bully us on the pitch

Hook him off, touch is poor today and no pace to pass their freak of a defender. He's about to lose his head as the ref is giving him nothing
