Playing Walsh after the 7-1 defeat
at 04:59 31 Aug 2025

Was a big big gamble, that paid off immensely

If he was dropped, his confidence would be severely dampened, win or lose

But we won, and he played, slim odds but this I believe gives him a big boost, even though he conceded a bad goal, which keeper didn’t make mistakes, sometimes it went in, sometimes it didn’t

It is “big gamble” that paid off for Julien, I believe he must have spoken to Walsh, preparing him mentally and positively.

This could turn his season around, I hoped he kicks on. Here’s hoping 🤞🏼

I really want JS to succeed at QPR

Really good post match comments, talked all about the team, the staff, and credit them, for the win

I don’t think we can doubt his pedigree but every coach needs to learn and adapt to a new league especially the English Championship and if you are foreign, maybe a bit longer. He’s still finding his feet, we need to allow him time to learn and grow with the team.

Two big points I took away from the post match were his mention about positive mindset and emotional stability

- positivity - no mention of the 7-1 defeat when they regrouped but all about what they wanted to do, the team tactics and how they were going to play

- emotional stability - explained why he controlled his emotions after the 7-1 trashing and even after the Charlton win it was not about “I told you so” but more let’s enjoy the win and take it cool it is only one win, get ready for the next game vibe

Really want him and QPR to be successful this season and beyond 🤞🏼

A Kelmanation of errors QPR vs Charlton Athletic Match Thread
at 08:13 30 Aug 2025

We beat Stevenage 5-0, then lost 0-6 to Castello
Played well 45 mins v PNE, then wetted the bed second half
A poor 45 mins v Watford, then played well second half
Total abysmal 90 mins v Coventry
So Charlton
I am going, play well 90 mins and come away with a win, I don’t care the score

We were on our knees the whole of pre-season begging the gods for the sell-on fee for an Eze transfer but at 60m if not for an injury Arsenal wouldn’t even bulge

Now these lesser know players (well at least to me) are going for 40, 50m without a blink of an eye

Love it!

I mean, look at all that aggression, malice, fury! Total brutality!!! Played like men!

And 3 league games in our dear team looked wimpy, woozy and milquetoast!!!

We need that grit, that bite, that fire!

Just hope he starts to score some goals in Germany

And we can recoup some money when we move him on permanently

Unfortunately how this turned out, I was actually quite thrill when he joined thinking we got ourselves a decent striker

Never scored for his country before he joined, and till now - 17 games, should have known better

Maybe the club pays him when he plays, when he's out injured insurance cover pays for the time out? Surely every player is covered by insurance in this modern professional world of competitive big money sporting era?

Nourry Apologise
at 21:17 23 Aug 2025

Three games in

- not fit
- mocked the Cup
- jeykyll and Hyde performance in 90 minutes
- Coventry debacle

I am neither a Nourry clapper nor a Nourry hater, but anyone who loves the club could see something’s wrong

You are CEO. Everything revolves around you, everyone reports to you, you have to owe up

We know it is three games in of a long season, but surely this cannot continue and be shrugged off as part of a journey or a process in the project?

Do I think the coach is a problem? Is Ligue One not as rigorous as the English championship? Perhaps, but the French league is one of the continent top leagues. The manager has a certain pedigree which European football experience and has nurtured some top top players. He maybe a novice in this league but surely not a 7-1 type of clueless, or is he?

I am struggling. The fans are suffering. Furious even, and rightly so.

We need answers. Honest answers. Brutal honesty.

Nourry needs to answer.

What is the way forward, from here?

Has the Eze money banked in yet? It is concerning if we haven’t received a cent we are splurging on a position not as critical as CM or LB.

Unless we have a deal for the “departing” Smyth lined up and that is going to pay for “incoming” Saito, like for like, then fair enough

If RND is the LB cover, I wonder what we are doing with CM - Colback to come back?

Even if we tried to get Moore, we will be out-bid by Wrexham

Jeez, what do you make of that, fuk’in Wrexham which a few years ago were non league!

Considering Moore’s wages purported around £25k per week and Wrexham offering £30kor more, no way happening for us

Celar wages is around £8k

Kelman:Here We Go
at 22:49 26 Jul 2025

“If he tears up the championship” that’s the real trick isn’t it

He wouldn’t sign an extension, he is clearly not interested in staying, we can force him to stay but will he perform to his best? I am not sure if he stayed without accepting QPR’s contract extension would he even be near the first team

I don’t think any team lower than the championship will / can pay 3 million plus for Kelman, rumoured Luton, but was Kelman willing to go down a level, I am sure he is ambitious. Birmingham and Wrexham both loaded are now in the same level as us. Charlton is the “best” choice as he would find himself as the main striker. I doubt he would if he were to go Luton.

If hope he does well and move on so we get the sell on, but just don’t do well against QPR !

Poku v Kelman (didn't dare put Kelman first)
at 22:40 26 Jul 2025

Poku we have been tracking for 4 years, he is not just a one season wonder

Kelman, we had him for 4 years, he had a wonderful one season last season on a loan spell

Poku wanted to be here, maybe it’s the money but

Kelman wouldn’t sign an extension and is clearly disinterested
