 | News Comment | Ivan Juric Finally Proves His Worth For Southampton With Sulemana Transfer at 09:12:51
We will regret selling him, under a good manager and with decent strike partners he will shine and we will again count the cost of poor SR decisions. SR incidentally appear intent on having the women's team relegated as well given that they have released our best player Molly Pike. Utter nonsense. |

Yes Block47M the referee and var were far from impartial. Sugawara conceded two penalties in the games against Liverpool that were a lot less obvious hand balls than the one Arsenal should have been punished for yesterday. |

We will see if things have changed, there is still the recruitment and sale of players to be sorted for next season. I am however faintly optimistic that there will be things to look forward to next season. I wonder if Will Still had any input into the team selection. I wish him well particularly after all his girlfriends medical hardships that they have endured over the last few years. Shame you couldn’t give Ugochukwu and Sulemana a shout out our two best players on the day.. |

More rubbish from you Nick about Sulemana. How many balls did we play over the top for him to use his speed against their slower central defenders - answer- none. Zero tactical nous from Rusk. Would have been much better to have him on with Stewart but there you go. Another stunning success by Sports Republic seeing Alzraz turning out for our opponents. Sooner they go the better. |
 | News Comment | Southampton At Leicester City The Verdict at 10:28:11
Sadly Rusk appears to be as poor as the other ‘managers’ Sports Republic have appointed. Stephen’s is an absolute disgrace, he made no effort to get back to cover a completely unmarked Vardy who was under no pressure whatsoever for their first goal. Performances have been woeful since Rusk took over, very negative, mind you not too different from the rest of the season. Sports Republic’s decisions are destroying not only the men’s team but also a previously very successful women’s team. The U21 and U18 teams are the exceptions but I for one do not trust them not to sell off our future stars there cheaply. |
 | News Comment | Southampton V Leicester City The Preview at 15:32:02
Stephens is absolutely useless, made no effort to get back to Vardy who was completely on his own in the centre. Needs to go and if Rusk thinks him suitable he needs to go too. |
 | News Comment | Southampton V Fulham The Verdict at 11:14:54
Think I heard Gronbeck is injured. That was a very cruel defeat. Fulham didn't look likely to score until that travesty when their player's shot was covered by Ramsdale but for that ridiculously unlucky (again) deflection. Their idiot manager should reflect on his sides luck before criticising us. Referee was far too lenient to both sides, Jiminez should have gone for repeated foul play. Hard to take but some good points, Stewart looks promising if only he can stay fit, I still think Sulemana creates most of our best chances. On the negative side I see their is a rumour that Fernandes wants away, that would be a shame. Good to see the U21 and womens' teams win at least, appaling that Sports Republic can't arrange streaming coverage for those of us who could not make the games. Just one of a long list of their shortcomings. |
 | News Comment | Southampton At West Ham United The Verdict at 14:51:41
Jack Stephens cost us two goals last week, I was surprised to see him start. That said a much better team performance this week. Would really like to see what Stewart could do with Sulemana but they are never on the pitch together sadly. Support was fantastic even the commentators noted it. |
 | News Comment | Southampton At Tottenham Hotspur The Verdict at 10:42:15
Pathetic owners, pathetic managers, pathetic tactics and pathetic recruitment. Sports Republic appear to be a major part of the problem. Bad decisions taken too late is a constant theme with them it appears. Two relegations in three years tells you all you need to know about their unsuitability to manage a premiership club. I do not subscribe to the view that the players were not up to the task except for the ommission of a proven goal scorer. Had we signed someone like the Corinthians striker instead of the mediocre 'talent' we did sign the result might have been very different. The sad thing is now we will doubtless see many of the best players including the likes of Gronbeck leave. Thoroughly disillusioned with the whole way the club is being run but doubtless I will be back supporting the team come next season come what may. Many might say more fool me. |
 | News Comment | Southampton V Liverpool The Verdict at 17:12:19
Really fed up with weak referees and cheating var officials that cheating ba*stard k Nunez should never have been on the pitch to score the equaliser or to dive for the second goal but of course this is Liverpool and they cannot be allowed to suffer the indignity of being held at home. A much much better performance which if the officials had done their job we might have actually got something from. |
 | News Comment | Southampton V Brighton The Verdict at 14:40:20
I do not agree that the players are as bad as some make out, with the possible exception of our so called forwards. To my mind the problem is they have had all the confidence knocked out of them by the totally incompetent Sports Republic and their incredibly poor choices of manager. The trouble is, that even if Juric was sacked, I have zero confidence that Sports Republic would appoint anybody who is even faintly capable. Our owner appears totally unsuitable to run a Premier League club based on the performance of the people he has appointed to date. Perhaps we should be praying for a change of owner as well as a change of manager. |
