If this does happen and it's a decent lump, could be worth getting the full refurbishment of the pitch done. Might be too late for the upcoming season.

There's a bit more to MM's career. His first promotion with Fleetwood came in his 3rd season. My guess is his first season one wasn't with the back drop of the club at risk of going out of business and having to watch every single penny.

In past seasons less goals have been scored by the champions. For example Macclesfield scored 67 in the 17/18 season and Orient scored 73 in the 18/19 season

Was in Wrexham's squad that won promotion to the EFL (made 9 appearances)
Has made 21 appearances for Fylde since Feb last year
56 games played since 2021. Don't know if he has had injuries or just not been picked. Sorry I'm not excited about this signing. Watch him become player of the season.

I heard a full pitch renovation (don't know if that includes the drainage), is over £1 million and there isn't scope in the budget to do that, but there will be comprehensive remedial work being taken.

It could be argued that this has really been his first 'proper' season. He has been a caretaker manager of a club in turmoil and his first full season he was at the helm of club that was holed below the waterline. Yes other managers have tricky situations to navigate but I think those BJ has to steer the club through in the 23/24 were far more taxing than the average.
In this season it is unfair to say he hasn't improved or that he has reached the summit of his potential as the manager of Rochdale

In fans forums and interviews he has alluded to knowing the formula and processes (I know these words have some recoiling) for getting out of the national league. That it isn't a one season 'process' with that in mind next season should see continued improvement.
If we can have more games at The COA like the one against Hartlepool and less like the one against Ebbsfleet that should hopefully boost crowds
