Looking at the odds for our eliminator on Thursday looks like the bookies have us favourites but only very marginally. I think of the four teams we could have potentially faced Southend is possibly the trickiest opponent. They are a team in form, confidence will be brimming having secured the last playoff spot on the last day of the season. The manager hardly needs to do a team talk on Thursday night he just has to point out that over a thousand fans have made the effort to travel what is basically a 500 mile round trip.
I don't know if this would have contravened ticket pricing rules but there could have been an incentive during the season ticket holder window that if they purchase two tickets each person would get a fiver voucher for that could be redeemed at one of the food stands or the bar so effectively those tickets would have been discounted by £5.
I'm not sure any initiatives have been sullied.. I for example wasn't doing so with the question about the posters. That was a simple and effect marketing tool that could have been easily replicated for this game.
I think people use to call it 'character building'. Back to the video I thought it was excellent, professionally made and certainly inspiring. When selling the club/town to new players it could be an excellent tool.
Wycombe do the same it's probably because I looked this up in the past the algorithm did it's thing and showed me the tweet about the free kids shirts. https://www.wwfc.com/tickets/subscriptions/

Maybe we could consider a similar initiative for the 26/27 season
Also his goals contributed to us being in the position we are currently in and not forgetting he played a number of games last season with a broken rib I believe.
I guess recruitment will depend on which league we are in next season. Also the league of any players with time left on their contracts we are targeting. For example if Jim has been tracking a player in NLN or NLS that plays for a club in playoff position.
No disrespect meant but I am sorry. A model of long term sustainability is the sensible way forward was just thinking a stellar in terms of lower/non league signing(s) could inject an additional buzz.
