This is a bold move, in most areas of life, there is no substitute for experience, yet here we have a 32 year old taking the reigns of a reasonably sized football club with big aspirations.
So is this the cheap option? Is this style over substance? Is this a risk that if it goes wrong will be catastrophic to SR - I think so?
Alternatively, have SR been incredibly innovative, and instead of turning to tired ex pros hoping for one more pay day before retiring in the sun, have plucked the first of a new breed of footballing genius?
A third alternative is if we have better players than the other teams we are playing, does it really matter who the the manager is and what the tactics are?! |
