I’m hoping it’s one of your points - that they’re just having a look at Walsh, which is fair enough but it must feel like a slap in the face for Nardi. We shall see… and totally agree of all the things that needed shaking up, the keepers were way down the list! |

Am I alone in thinking the way that Nardi has been demoted is a bit weird. He’s not old, he had an OK season, rather him than Begovic any day, and is better with his feet than Walsh. Surely you can coach him to come off his line a bit more. He’s slightly smaller 6ft 1/6ft 2 compared to Walsh who looks 6ft 4 but it all just seems a bit strange… Unless there is more at play - he’s unsettled or Stephen doesn’t fancy him. Such a shame, there’s a talent there but there’s clearly baggage which may or may not be of his own doing. |

🤣 🤣 🤣 What do you reckon wombat, shall we go the whole hog and start the season with the cup winning development squad? Only point I was trying make was let’s see how Larkeche does. Will he be up to it? I doubt it… but sometimes you’ve got to give things a try and if we are to succeed with any sort of model the time he’s been with us and the loan away means he needs to be tested… and though you might not believe me, I don’t think he is the answer on LB I’d like him to be though As far as Nourry cooking - I’m not a fan of his in the slightest, but what else can we do. He won’t be being bombed out for a while yet |

Great interview with Larkeche. He seems like a good lad. And looks like he’s being given the chance to make the LB berth his own and why not? He’s had a loan, done decently (my mate who is Dundee fan really liked him) and he’s ours. Now or never for him. If he does fail though, it will be a Harrison Ashby marque 2 emergency loan, unless Esquerdinha turns out to be the next Roberto Carlos. |

Perhaps further from the Crown is no bad thing then... Next door would have been dangerous - a constant supply of Peroni! |

Not The The Top 20 is my go to Champ podcast. The Second Tier guys are total grifters. Fancy retro fooball shirt and hot takes trying to wind up your mate... no thanks! |

Gab deserves a bigger profile IMO. He’s so much better and frankly more informed than those plums that host the Second Tier. |

I like that we've done our business early and agree with the views. We're going to need an out before we have anyone else coming in. Interesting that the squad page on the club website hasn't been updated yet, which makes me think we will be seeing some more departures (EDB, Santos) and confirmation that neither Fox nor Colback are coming back as well. |

Thought I'd resurrect this. Seeing as we've now got some additions in defence as well as the exciting of Poku.Where else do people think we're lacking. For me most pressing are: LB - Maybe they'll see how Larkeche gets on. Centre Mid - If Varane goes we feel light here and would be great to have a centre mid that would like to start and bring the ball forward. It seems we love CDMs and Midget 10s but nothing in the middle... Striker - I reckon (based on nothing) Lloyd might be loaned out. That leaves Celar, Frey, Kolli, Kelman. That mythical 20 a season striker - will be out of reach financially so just one that scores 12 would be good. Anyway what do others think? |
 | Forum Reply | Taylor Richards finally going? at 21:17 2 Jul 2025
Okay, I'm going to bite... is Richards finally getting going?? Anyone else thinking that the penny may have dropped for Taylor... I mean, the odds are stacked against him but physically he even looks like a footballer again, and he seems to be invovled in training. We don't know anything about the off-field antics, so would be great to see that its all behind him (personally as well as professionally) but also as he is a local lad as well it would be great to see him fulfil the promise he must have shown for Citeh and Brighton to have taken him on. I know, what must I be drinking to post the above but still. What does everyone else think... [Post edited 2 Jul 21:18]

That is the leanest I think Richards has looked since being at QPR. Not saying the penny has dropped or anything but the weight has! |

If Gardening Leave equated to a managerial spell, then Mr GL has surpassed Paul Hart (29days) and Mick Harford (43days) can’t be too far off a Neil Critchley (69 days 🤣) period in charge. Gardening Leave currently at 54 days Monsieur Stephan has to be announced in the next 2 weeks surely… |

I have Now TV for Sky Sports. Every time the deal is about to bump up I go to cancel and then they offer a better deal. £17.99 for all the sports channels for the next 5 months. Deals are better on the website too rather than through the phone app. |

CEO Christian Nourry said: “Jaylan is a rare profile of 8/10, with a capacity to regularly get highly-accurate shots off whilst having very small pockets of space to operate in" It's a generational thing right? I have NEVER described, and doubt I ever will, an attacking midfielder as Nourry has above. |

I think a special shout out must go to his butcher and his postman. They clearly kept the choicest cuts to one side and made the swiftest deliveries to ensure we kept our player of the year living in Chiswick and playing for the Rs! |

I wonder how long it takes to walk from Rennes… turns out it’s 4 and a bit days. Maybe Stephan is doing a pilgrimage to the the hallowed turf of the TSG Elite Training & Performance Centre |
